tweedledee
right guys i`m interested to hear what your favourite gun is to use from a hide whilst pigeon shooting or even crows for that matter . what barrel length suits you doing this style of shooting and what choke. i`ll start off by saying i like my winny auo with 28" barrel and quarter choke. suits me fine. birds don`t like it though

Ozzy Fudd
12ga benelli semi, usually 32 gram 6's with open or 1/4 choke, think its about 28" barrel
mikee
remmy 1100 is my all time favorite hide gun (well anything gun really), its light, quick handling, the most pointable gun ive ever had and with the 30"full choke barrel swings beutifully and kills well, its shot to death now but the barrel is ok so i may buy a second hand action one day mikee
chrispti
At the moment; Investarm 20b o/u hushpower choked @ 3/4 & full, works very well at this time of the year over rape, as the low noise produced doesnt scare the big bunches of pigeons off to other fields
Imperfection
My 28" Escort semi-auto with I/C choke works well coupled with 32gms of 6 shot and the pigeons dont like it up em'.
henry d
For a small day over rape etc. through the winter I like my 686 Beretta(28"), but for a day over stubbles/peas/swathed rape etc. when the cartridges fired is likely to be high, my remmi 11-87 (26") as it soaks up recoil and is a similar length to the 686 when all is said and done.
