Game & Vermin

Recommended Posts

On our shoot we have shot pheasant, French and English partridge, wigeon, mallard, teal, Canadian goose, snipe, woodcock, hare, rabbit, grey squirrel, fox, mink, jay, crow, magpie, rook, pigeon, collared dove, jackdaw and have herds of roe and a pair of huge Red stags, but the deer on our shoot are culled by the Forestry Commission. We are really lucky to have such a diverse amount of game.

Game: pheasant, redlegs, mallard, Canadas and woodcock. Deer: battalions of fallow deer, muntjac, a pair of roe that I will never shoot, and several formidable red stags and hinds. All the hares have been shot. The battle against the rabbits, squirrels, fox, corvids and woodies never ends.

:good: That would be hard, as we have if I can include our "South African Estate" thousands of animal bird reptile LIFE.But I am asuming that you mean on our Scots and English estates.. Well HERE TOO WE HAVE everything including some unusual charactures ... Eagle/wallaby escapees left to roam free /and the red kite/Buzard..All in their own self fantastic but need care.... :hmm: A.J.
