blackbird
Thinking of going for a Ruger 10/22 but cant make my mind up wood or synthetic stock :( anyway going to use it for plinking & bunny bashing any feedback on the Ruger would help me also any pics of your setups would be fantastic. steve_b_wales
I bought the synthetic stock, but changed it for the Hogue stock. It's far better, and gives the rifle better grip and added weight.
stet
Ive just done mine up i had a standard one with beech stock the only thing i had done to it was a trigger job which you need to do. Lately i have just added a black hogue stock and a stainless match barrel and had the receiver glass bead blasted to get the black coating off. I have had it out twice and i like it but the rabbits don't, will try and put a picture up. I would go for one but if you are going to do it up get the cheapest you can because you only want the action.

Salop Matt
Stet that does look sweet but i guess it cost a fair bit ? Any indication on what you had to spend to get it looking like that ?
Ozzy Fudd
i went for a more tactical look for mine originally... tapco t6 adjustable stock and a few other bits and bobs
The Burpster
Mine is std action (housing - internals are all trick!) and carbine barel. Butler creek folding stock, and PES moderator. Burris red dot sight, and Insight Technology X3 mounted on front of Forend. = Short range bunny fun.
stet
including original rifle total cost about £500 i know its a lot but i get the most use out of it compared to my other rifle .I had had standard rifle 2 years so doesn't seem as though i have spent as much on it Edited March 23, 2009 by stet

(looks good though ) wot? theres nothing better than charging down a few bunnies with something like this, wearing the black kit and popping a few flash bangs as you go....
welshwarrior
I bought mine with a black synthetic stick but changed it for a Hogue as its a better grip and a bit long pull. As fitted a CST auto bolt catch so the action stays open after the last round is fired, (like every other semi auto). Great gun tho.
