Chard
Got an 83 in this today, which I was quite pleased with. My mate Craig got 82 Laaaaarf. Annihilator got 73 after a steaming start. Saw Mr Potter there, but don't know what he got, but he didn't look happy. Paulos was supposed to be going to this, but I didn't see him, not that I know what he looks like Some heavy artillery there. Brett Winstanley - 95, Kevin Mayor - 96, Graham Stirzaker - 95. Some other bloke - 97. By the Mungler method of calculation, over 12 stands, I was about one clay per stand behind the big boys. That must mean I'm Bruce Lee ******* 'ard. Quite a good shoot, spoiled by the weather at the end and a ridiculous queue on two of the stands at the end. I don't know why there was a jam on those two but I definitely lost the will to live there. Must have taken about an hour to shoot the last two stands in the pi$$ing rain :look: . Bollix to that. Floating Chamber
Only shot at Worsley once. Had a great evening there with Jean and Pete Worrall and Ken Amos in the early 90's.
Anni
Yep was a good police shootemup. For some reason chard told me to call him dave and got twitchy when the fuzz were about? I got off to a scorcher and thought my chance had finally come to whip (Chard) ******* well ard lee As soon as i said that my game collapsed (In front of everybody ). so craig and chard faught it out for the honours. Next time chardy next time :look: P.S stand 10 was a ********,****,**********,*****,*****,******,WET,*****,*********,******,****.
Chard
Good lad. Any orange clays you can explain the 17 away with? There were a few orange ones, but my excuses are - rain in the eyes, rigor mortis set in waiting at the last two stands, left a bottle of Lucozade in the car, too many edge on, fast, quartering away against the trees 'orrible, don't like 'em little ******** :look:
paulos
I was there Chard! I didn't see you either though (I also have no idea what you look like!!!) It was a very good layout, most enjoyable - as concurred by most of the top shots we were chatting to The track in was nowhere near as bad as I had anticipated although there was one pothole that was more like a meteor crater, as I discovered when my astra nose dived into it :look: I am incredibly disappointed with my score though, finishing on an 84. After 8 stands I was only 2 targets down and then absolutely fell apart on the last 4, dropping friggin' loads more I went from absolutely storming it to lagging behind something awful, made all the worse by the fact that my group of four had a 95 and a 91 in it

That was a good start by you, shame about the end. I made a poor start, dropping 4 out of 10 on one of the early stands , but got better - until the end, when the waiting and the rain started to get the better of me. That pothole was probably one of the tank traps near the bungalow. There's a couple of Shermans in the bottom of one of them Sorry to have missed you
Nicky T
Sounds like i missed out on a good shoot today - damn work getting in the way again Some mighty impressive scores too, by the sounds of it! :look: Oh well, i'll be there on Sunday to navigate the crater on the way to some clay dusting

Mr Potter
Evening Chard and all the other PWers who were at Worsley today. Well I wasn't that happy Chard when I saw you because I had shot 7 out of 12 stands and hadn't straightened one and then had had two delays on stands, 1 for 25 mins and then about 40 mins honestly I nearly lost the will to live. Long story short, things bucked up and I cleaned 4 of the last 5 stands to finish on an 87. So a respectable score but still a lot of tourette type mutterings at the "easy ones" I let slip by. Even with the waiting and the rain I quite enjoyed the shoot but I've got to be honest Worsley never has (and I've been shooting it on and off for over 15 years) been one of my favourite grounds, perhaps I'm a bit claustrophobic and there are too many trees closing in on me. Probably see you on Monday at Catton then Chard Regards Mr Potter

I know you said you hadn't straighted a stand, so I thought you were having a duff day. When I saw you, I think I'd straighted about 4 or 5 stands but I'd dropped 4 on one and dropped 3 on a couple of others. I will indeed see you at Catton Hall on Monday. I'll be with my eldest son Ross and his army mate, who have informed me that they'll be shooting it with my Mossberg :look: . Should be interesting. Anni
Yeah we saw craig with some lads later on. He was just starting as we were finishing. Maybe he was trying to exorcise some demons like me :( . Yeah the battle is in your head, That was what I learned today. The stands which I went onto with a good feeling relaxed and positive I vertually straightened. The stand where I felt negative and tried to hard at, Well they beat me before I loaded a cart. I quite enjoy it in a sadistick sort of way . I feel inside me theres a good shooter trying to get out lol. I,m enjoying it anyway so I,m sure I'll find me feet soon enough. Maybe craig didnt want to get beaten again at catton hey :( . I reckon a DT10 will help to......... Yes, I'm quite good at thinking myself out of a good score One of the lads Craig was with is just recovering from a broken wrist (too much beating the meat ) I know he was keen to get back shooting again, and he's probably got work on for Monday. Good luck Wednesday
