Wookie
Well, Mrs. Wookie and myself are finally becoming Mr. & Mrs. Wookie on Saturday and I am stunned at how stressful a low key, family wedding can become. We are finally set with the caterers, the band, presents for the mothers and best man, rings, favours and booze (thank God!) and now all we have to do is pack for the day, the morning after's trip to Heathrow and the honeymoon. I tell ya, it's a bloody night mare and I am damned if I am doing this again. Or, if I have to (which I don't want to consider ever) I am doing a 24 hour drive-in Elvis chapel in Vegas. I know, class... So, if anyone of the Suffolk PWers are in Woodbridge at 12:30 on saturday, look out for the tall chap looking uncomfortable in a suit outside Shire Hall. The lovely bride will be along later. I'll be glad when all this is over I tell you!

Chard
I found it a ******* ordeal (twice) The third time, we just hoofed off to the Seychelles and got married over there We grabbed a couple of hotel staff as witnesses and did the deed. Much nicer and the wedding photos are the business Good luck on the day, Wookie Henry the Eighth
Wookie
Cheers all! Thing are just about sorted now and all we have to do is get to the venue now. Mind you, I seem to spend a lot of time de-flapping Mrs. Wookie to calm her down about things that are outside her control. Ah well, if that is my job in life... Just need to make sure the bags fit in the car and we are sorted.
Mrs Sweepy
I was very calm untill we got to the place of marriage Then i went into meltdown I even got it in my head Sweepy . Would not turn up(bet he wish he hadnt now) :look: It was also that this stage of the proceedings. That i also notice That instead of looking like the fairy princess which i was aiming for. I was looking more like the drag queen on valium. The best bit was the do afterwards. Where Sweepy took it upon himself to spend the whole day (we got married at 9.30 am) Popping up the bar. And i spent the time fighting off Great Aunties trying to wangle it out of me if i was with child. The worst bit is their are copys of the day on tapes somewhere.(i did have a copy but lost it ) Which show the whole day from the minute i got out of bed. right though to me trying to do the Can Can . Down the whole flight of stairs. Have a great day babes xxxxxSuzy
