If yours isn't must work then there is a keeper on the stalking directory who has one in Somerset. Only available if yours is health tested but a very good dog. Mine had a great litter from him last year and everyone including me is very pleased with the results. He works full time on deer and is very nice in all the ways you want. If you want details let me know

Rory doesn't have a stud gwp at the moment as far as I know or certainly didn't last year.

I'm prety sure rory doesn't have a stud at the moment, althou that may have changed. Be well worth speaking to rory thou or any of the more knowlegable breeders

Wot are u looking for in ur pups? Wot work are u doing with it?

Might be better of having a look on GWP club page or throu kennel club reistered breeders

Depending wot u want and how far u want to travel, there is 2 FTCH's in S Scotland, Jackie's Quill,(Moorrunner Marksman) and Chris's Patch (Trudvang Balder) (patch/chris came 2nd in champs this year) both are outstsanding dogs both very hard hunting on the grouse have cracking temperments.

Patch is a slightly smaller dog and not to hairy of more danish lines, been used quite a bit at stud thou in recent years

Quills a bit bigger and hairier, not sure his lines but is a cracking dog, know it fairly well, mate has just had a litter of pups using him and very pleased with them althou only 3 month old so early days. Not been used much at stud yet which surprises me as been ftch for a few years now and not much could touch him when he was trialling regular

My dog's sire was a lad at lancaster Roy somebody? Green? i think (Bryanscroft Redcurrent at malehaze, so rory's lines) cracking temerment and nose, seen a few other dogs run out of that stud as well, all run well and seem to have a nice temperment, seems to throw decent dogs

There is wirewolf/west berkshire gundogs Alan ?? P..? (Not good with 2nd names)

Best bet phone an experienced breeder and ask advice but look at ur pedigree fist so u know wot lines u have, quite a small gene pool really

Hi can any one recommend a good stud dog . I have a 4yr old bitch . I live in south wales but I will travel for the right dog.

I guess it depends what Lines you have and what you are looking for. What type of temperament are you after? Working OR Show?

I know of a good stud dog in Pembrokeshire, if you PM me I can send you details of the breeder.

If you are already in South Wales then speak to Lisa at the Mustwork kennels, she will be able to help.
