I agree with Cranfield. How many other things in life are being taken over by computers, how many of our younger members (myself included) can do mental arithmatic, how many of us now rely on our spell checkers and grammer checkers??? If you can't find your way around should you really be driving??? Before you go look at the map plan your journey memorise your route then get in the car and drive, job done your at your destination. I find a map far more accurate I've used route planners and I'll admit there handy for finding a particular street or house in an unfamilier town or city but thats as good as they get. Where I live in Aberdeenshire whenever I go south of Glasgow they try and send me down the A1 instead of the M6 which is by far the quicker route. My brother and sister in law came up from Gloustershire and they came up a right funny way thanks to a route planner, on their return journey I told them the best way to go and they cut more than an hour off their time. It doesn't seem to matter how you set the profiles they are nearly always wrong. Please keep on mind I used to cover in excees of 90,000 miles a year in a car around Scotland and England Theres my tuppence worth Squint

The pond on the estate I live on has just been poisoned to rid it of the signal crayfish my old neighbour released. It's a bit of a state now but we're told everything else will return minus the crayfish. One of the best baits for the crayfish traps is meant to be catfood. Squint

Heres my tuppence worth for what it's worth. I have never in my life as yet shot a pigeon (not for want of trying after all I am squintshot), but I do shoot regularly. My spelling though far far better than Aleds, can be terrible. I am often cheeky thought hopefully not offensive. I aslo cause devaitions from threads and post nonsense. Will I be banned??? The cause of a deviation from original content cannot souly be placed at the feet of the poster of the rouge comment, everyone that responds to this is also at fault as it's up to them to change track or ignore the comments and go back to the original subject. The cage traps that are on the estate are in use so would need to get more sharpish. Snares are to hand!! IT managers is raging the thing go it to the server room and crapped everywhere!! Squint

Does anyone know about the legallities of snaring feral cats?? We have one that comes in to my work to scavenge the bins and has a habit of excreting everywhere we know where it comes in and out but can't block this hole. It's a dangerous shot so not an option. Cheer Squint
