  1. The base mag at 8 will be too high if shooting stuff that is in close, which is common/the aim with a rimfire. Id rather a 3-12 or 4-12
  2. You’ve summed that up beautifully. Add to that everyone hating you, thinking you’re paid too much, do nothing, are to blame for everything, all whilst as you say not even earning that much.
  3. You won’t last long on many internet forums if you’re that easily upset or offended. The comments weren’t even bad and only slightly tongue in cheek. Was he not elected into office then? Lots of people like to criticise many forms of Government. Westminster, SNP, the Welsh jokers … yet why are we not fielding better candidates and them being elected? It seems like these lot are the best we can do.
  4. Extra £30 a month. Seems pretty reasonable to me. But all depends on your local area rental market etc. If you’re already paying higher than local market rates then putting it up any amount won’t be very reasonable. If it’s compatible to local alternatives or cheaper then it’s fine.
  5. Personally think it’s more about £ amount and what’s reasonable for the area. If you’re paying £1000 a month in Bristol, the next year it could easily be £1100-1200 which is a massive % jump but just the going market rate. 3.7% increase seems pretty low / fair although don’t know the specifics.
  6. Yes, they’re awful; but they’re not the source of drug dealing 🤣 Have worked in Bristols social sector for years now, there was rampant drug dealing long before e-scooters.
  7. Surely you’re not suggesting that electric scooters are the source of illegal drugs? The war on e-scooters? 🤣🤣
  8. That’s the real issue. As well as many smaller hospitals have closed down and not been replaced. More people going to bigger hospitals that cover more services.
  9. Unfortunately it’s either burgers or sausages as I’ve got a whole freezer draw full of the stuff

    Crab pots

How are you getting on Walshy? I wouldn’t mind getting a little boat and some crab / lobster pots
  11. With a newborn keeping us both awake most the nights I’m afraid to breath too heavily at the moment 😬👀
  12. 🤣🤣🤣 Warburtons toastie bread. The wife likes it: I prefer a nice granary or sourdough but there we go.
  13. More spoils of the hunt this morning for breakfast venison and pork sausages with black pudding and ketchup. Will add a fried egg tomorrow!
  14. I do laugh when I see these rent a mob idiots at the protests. Blatant in your face types dressed in sexually inappropriate outfits with signs saying “Free Palestine” yet if they set foot in the country they’d likely be stoned to death with the public cheering it on.
  15. It’s the type of organisation that if you don’t “vote” for them; they drag you into the streets and shoot you in the face … alongside your family. I don’t think they’re interested in votes. That said, it does appear (although I’ve hardly researched it at all) that many Palestinians support them, share a hatred for the Jews, yet want to stand back when it comes back their way saying “oh that wasn’t us”.
  16. You’re not supposed to chat to it, just eat it 😬
  17. Venison sausages with pasta with a tomato and red pepper sauce and plenty of Parmesan!! Spoil of a recent stalk in Devon
  18. Had a Quick Look, it’s much as I expected. Cheap n cheerful, for the price you can’t complain.
  19. Bet you can’t even get the ingredients for near that these days. Without accounting for your rent/rates, staff cost, etc. Is it a chain pub like a Weatherspoons type?
  20. Rent one a shop front in one area of the country is going to differ very significantly from another. Utility rates, local suppliers, fish transport costs, potato crop transport and growing season success in different areas possibly, staff wages may differ. Profit margins likely even play a part, some owners just pushing the margins more, whilst others don’t push it or can’t increase it. I’m from just outside Porthcawl where Steve gets his from, there are lots of fish and chip shops all competing for the same market. Two girls I went to school were best friends for what must be 15+ years … one of their dads owned a local chippy. The other girl worked there, learned the trade, and has opened up her own chippy on the seafront… they aren’t best friends anymore! 🤣
  21. Will it be as good though? I can’t imagine any pub doing 4 courses for £17.95 is great to be blunt. Cheap and cheerful maybe. I can’t see how it’s possible to do 4 courses for that price unless the quality / ingredients are just super basis and cheap.
  22. Fair play lads both of them look great
  23. Mine went from £550 to over £1100. That’d with 1 accident that was non fault and totally paid by the other party. Shopped around on all the comparison sites as well as 7-8 companies not on them and it was £1400+. All whilst providing absolutely awful service when needed.
  24. Venison burgers and sausages wrapped up in some grease proof paper and freezer bags for the time being.
  25. My father and I had fallow hotdog for lunch with red onion, mustard and ketchup forgot to take pics. My wife, sister, dad and I are having fallow burger for tea with onions, lettuce, relish and toms
