Does anyone out there have two live woodpigeons they could let me have. After all the rain which has flooded my garden and garage I had an epiphany. I am to build a boat, neigh, an ark, and take two of every animal so that they can repopulate the world once the floods have subsided. I do not where I got the idea and I do hope no-one else has done it as I think "jims ark" has quite a ring to it. I was going to bring the kids but they are always at each others throats so I have decided to give them a pair of water wings each and they can take their chances. I have already got some monkeys, 15 in total which seemed to cause some concern in lasts week press but I nicked them for the greater good. And if they really did not want me to nick them they should have built the fence higher. I have a three year old staffie( not a gundog ) who is petrified of bangs, be it fireworks or guns. It distresses me to see her pant in fear every time a firework goes off as much as it scares her. Does anyone have any ideas that may help.PLEASE. She is three years old now and spoilt to death. Does DAP work? Should I ignore her when she shakes? Tranquilisers around bonfire have been the only thing up to now which have worked but I am sure she is still sh@tting herself but too stoned to react. As badgers are very short sighted I found the best wayto get rid of them was to go to your local sweet shop and by 2 and 3/4 pounds of everton mints ( about 100 in total ). During the day while ol broc is asleep set the mints up in the classic panzer movement as deployed so devastingly during the german invasion of mainland europe. When he arises from his slumber and leaves the sett he believes he is under attack and flees. You have to be careful though that he does not set up an underground resistance movement. For added effect suspend any left over confectionery by fine fishing line to nearby trees to complete the illusion jimDfish

dont worry about having a funny looking dog. Mines is a gunshy cretin who even now is cowering and shaking at my feet after hearing a firework going off half a mile away.I do love her though.
