I have no idea why they do it but we were once walking the dogs and pegs, a real scruffy collie, zoned in on what was definetely human dougie. before we could even shout her back she had wolfed the whole lot down. 9. LB I am afraid its an early shower for you as well me lad. OFF. I thought this was a sensible forum with people who had balanced and sensible opinions based on years of experience, gained in the field and passed down from father to son in the tradition of hunting folk worldwide. I am now seriously having to reconsider this evaluation of mine. I am going to subscribe to the readers digest forum and you will all be sorry when I am gone. I would heartily recommend not making any posts contradicting the above statement as I will know that it is fear and panic speaking and not your true feelings, which even now are threatening to overwhelm you while thinking of your impending loss. I will give you one more chance as it is a better thing i do for this forum than has been done unto me. jimDfish P.S dont even think about it

  14. CM Have you read any of the posts that were posted For your attention on the tips and tricks. If you had you would see there is no reason to pay thirty quid for a hide and extendable clothes props with the ends knocked into a point will suffice and are only two quid. JimDfish
  15. The yellow pages is a godsend. Lots of no's and ****** off's along the way but perseverence does pay off. I just got permission today on a farm that I have been after for years. 1000,s of acres of arable with lots of rabbits and pigeons. Expect pics soon. JimD

  19. If you do it carefully and cut the sheet so it has flaps as well as holes it works. You can also put different coloured paint on. Use beige sheets for over crop same script. It does work as the tightwad doing this post has them. I suppose if you got a green duvet cover you could do what was posted in the "bags for carrying " post also in this section and carry everyting in it and then use a hide jimD
  20. Get a gun get a farmer who will let you shoot on his land Watch the field and find out where pigeons fly and land get a hide, a green bed sheet with spray painted black stripes will do and blast a few holes through the sheet fo the scrim net effect. place hide between you and pigeons put down some decoys, see pigeonwatch.co.uk/tips and tricks for best pattern. Do not use the forums tips and tricks. The forums are part of the site, not the whole thing. top left of screen click on pigeon shooting. shoot pigeons in the same way you shoot clays but use No6 carts pick up dead pigeons jinmDfish

  23. This is an old country way my uncle told me about. He used to swear by it. Find the field where they frequnt most and drop a section of orange and a ginger biscuit down the freshest molehill. Return every night for a month and repeat ( I know it is time consuming ). After 30 days just drop the orange down and the mole pops up and says" where's my ******* biscuit" and hit it with a hammer. Job done jimDfish
  24. I just nipped in for last orders. I have no idea what the pair of you were up to and vulcha was slurring his posts jim
  25. I use a fold up wheelbarrow tthat me mum bought from a gardening show. Folds flat, fits everything in, and because it is made of rubberized canvas when it pees down i stick it over my head and use it as brolly jimDfish
