ok, the ***** have returned. i had some trouble identifying some droppings last year and the opinion was probably a feral dog. they vanished in spring but have now returned outside a rather large hole in the ground! had a walk around today and spotted this hole and 4 lots of droppings nearby, some of it in the diggings just outside the hole. some heavy prints in the diggings but none clear enough to get a pic of. set the trail cam a short distance from the hole to see what comes and goes. anyone want to take a guess? hole looks a bit small for badger, but iam no expert!! what the %£"* is in there?

hi all forend from a franchi grifone auto, seems to have developed a small hairline crack in the forend. hard to see the crack but it curves slightly and is around 2 inches long, shows as the slightly darker line in the pic. gun does not see heavy loads or get abuse. anyone out there do repairs? or have any ideas on how to stop it getting worse? love the gun and dont want to stop using it,currently using a synthetic black stock+forend from another 712 franchi but it takes the weight to 7.5lb. love to get it back to its slim 6lb12.

wherever the birds respond best to them! watch them coming in and move them if they put them off. but as a starting point i would say at the back pattern. i know protom1 has a french client who puts them in a line out to 150 yds behind the pattern!and it works!(food for thought)

gas operated franchi 612/712/raptor will do the job well. made with benelli parts etc including rotating bolt system.(that most beretta's dont have!) weight 7lb, and if you can find a grifone weight is 6lb 12 ish! lent one to a keeper freind for 6 months after a shoulder op, he didnt want to give it back
