Your cabinet should be ok for FAC (if it's been passed by FEO) but if it doesn't have a lockable section inside then you will need to buy an ammo safe which will need fixing to the wall and passed by FEO.

Gateshead would come under Northumbria and they are busy at the moment. From posting my application it was 6 weeks to FEO visit and it's 3 1/2 weeks since visit and I'm still waiting! :look: As it happens I've been working at Northumbria Police HQ this week and just made a little inquiry with the firearms dept and my application should be processed next week.

Out with my friend yesterday and the Escort he uses (the one I'm I was going to buy when my SGC comes through!) decided to try and blow the end of the barrel off resulting in deformed barrel, choke and choke threads destroyed. No blockages, choke was tight and only around 150 carts through it, so at a loss as to why this happened. (It is going back to gunshop for return to Edgar Bros for their examination). I am waiting for my SGC to drop through the door in the next couple of weeks and am trying to get some kit ready. So I was wondering if it's best to have a Cleaning kit or Boresnake or Both? What do you guy's recommend?

As Taff said, as long as you have room in your cabinet for them then there is no limit on the amount of shotguns you own.
