  1. Your cabinet should be ok for FAC (if it's been passed by FEO) but if it doesn't have a lockable section inside then you will need to buy an ammo safe which will need fixing to the wall and passed by FEO.
  2. A very nice looking little fella, have fun with him.
  3. Harnser, the shop assistant said exactly the same as you when we dropped the gun in this morning. It will have to be sent away to Edgar Bros for their inspection. Here is a couple more pics showing the damage to choke and bulge in barrel.
  4. Gateshead would come under Northumbria and they are busy at the moment. From posting my application it was 6 weeks to FEO visit and it's 3 1/2 weeks since visit and I'm still waiting! :look: As it happens I've been working at Northumbria Police HQ this week and just made a little inquiry with the firearms dept and my application should be processed next week.
  5. Yeah, truck drivers arm takes some beating :look: . Some years it looks like I've had an arm transplant! John (truck driver)
  6. Congratulations, hope they are both doing well. Now, go and have a good drink young man.
  7. 70 mile round trip for me which I can only get to once a fortnight but it's got to be done if I want to shoot. You guy's with the permissions on your doorstep are so lucky so take care of them. My house is only 100yds from a farm and I have known the farmer all my life but he won't allow any shooting because it upsets all the horse people that use his fields. Its so frustrating as my back garden backs onto one of his fields and the trees on the edge of that field are usually full of pigeons.
  8. Yes, I believe you are correct on this but the chokes in this Escort are the ones supplied with the gun.
  9. This gun in question has only shot Eley HB pigeon 6 1/2 32g fibre Eley Realtree® pigeon 6 1/2 30g fibre
  10. Thanks Baldrick, I'll have a look for that (or do you have a link, please).
  11. Out with my friend yesterday and the Escort he uses (the one I'm I was going to buy when my SGC comes through!) decided to try and blow the end of the barrel off resulting in deformed barrel, choke and choke threads destroyed. No blockages, choke was tight and only around 150 carts through it, so at a loss as to why this happened. (It is going back to gunshop for return to Edgar Bros for their examination). (Mobile phone pics, sorry for quality.)
  12. This is the inscription on the statue of The Gurkha Soldier in Whitehall. Bravest of the brave, most generous of the generous, never had a country more faithful friends than you. Then they are not allowed to stay in the country they put their lives on the line for ............... IT F*#KING STINKS! YES, they should recieve citizenship.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUabDEPlsT4...re=channel_page Wonder if his parents have ear defenders!
  14. Well done , I can only dream of those sorts of numbers .
  15. You cannot post personal details (your phone number), use the private message service for correspondence.
  16. That was also my first thought as I watched it but she'll probably make a fortune from it with all the media exposure.
  17. Thanks for your comments , I will go for both but now the problem will be which ones to buy......... there's loads to choose from .
  18. I am waiting for my SGC to drop through the door in the next couple of weeks and am trying to get some kit ready. So I was wondering if it's best to have a Cleaning kit or Boresnake or Both? What do you guy's recommend?
  19. As Taff said, as long as you have room in your cabinet for them then there is no limit on the amount of shotguns you own.
  20. Enjoy and excellent result on your permission.
  21. I think it would be better for you to ring your FEO as it seems every force has different views on this matter, better safe than sorry.
  22. This might be of use. http://www.shootingsoftware.com/ftp/CEDM2ManLayout.pdf
