  1. Utmost respect to your lad and all the other men and women out there doing a very difficult job.
  2. Regarding the "Taking non licence holders shooting with you" ...... I had my visit from the FEO on wed and the policy he said that northumbria police had was "you had to be shooting with the landowner present, on the landowners land and using the landowners gun" and that was the only way a non SGC holder could shoot a shotgun (apart from clay grounds). (sorry my reply is a little late but thought this might keep people on the right side of the law in the Northumbria Police region.)
  3. Congratulations on passing your test As said earlier, you want to try and save a little more as for a £1000 you'll be getting a fairly old vehicle and it could cost a lot in repairs and upkeep.

    Mounts

You need mounts with a stop pin which will fit into the hole on top of your gun between the dovetail or a BSA scope stop kit.
  5. Well done on your first month. :o It's not easy but i've been off them nearly 3 years now and I'm pleased I did quit ........ just got to get the weight off now that I put on from quitting.
  6. Yeah, your right ...... I'll just have to be patient.
  7. After waiting nearly 6 weeks since posting my SGC application, I've just had my visit from the FEO. It took him around 20/30 mins and he said there were no problems with my home security or cabinet (he said both were excellent :o ) so he see's no problem for me getting my SGC, but they have a bit of a backlog so it could take around 4 weeks before I see the SGC through the door . Here's to being patient again .

Good luck for your test bobby dazzler, I took my class1 around 20 years ago and can still remember the nerves I had but try to overcome your nerves. Remember, if it goes wrong (which it won't) life will not change and you can always go back in for it.
  11. Not Newcastle but I get my bottle filled at Deep Blue @ Whitley Bay (£3 for a 3ltr bottle).
  12. WHAT !!!! You gave birth to your son through your John Thomas.

  15. Yes, it should be an excellent season. YIPPEE, indeed. Brands will be a big loss to WSB, it was always one of the biggest races of the year.
  16. Yeah, I think your right about Nori and this is his best chance. 17. If you don't mind sitting at your pc for it, I'm sure you can watch it here http://www.worldsbk.com/pubb_EN/sbkTV.php
  18. Looks like it's going to be a very exciting season and with 5 brits to cheer on it'll be unmissable (for the bike guy's on here). Will Haga finally get the title this year? Who's your title contender's.
  19. ********************** There you go
  20. I would also like to thank Paul for an excellent transaction, I have just got an ST5 from him and it's excellent and at a very good price and it was delivered when he said it would be. Thanks Paul.
  21. Thanks Paul, for an excellent cabinet. Well happy with it and the price.

  22. This is very true, you need to know in your own mind that you WANT to stop smoking. I had tried on a few occasions (in my 30 odd years of smoking) to stop but always went back to them, but this time I knew that I didn't want to smoke another tab in my life so nearly 3 years ago went cold turkey. Think about Your health (To quit smoking is the best thing you could ever do for your future health) Your families health and feelings (Think about passive smoking and how they feel about you smoking) Your wallet (At todays prices on 20 a day you are spending around £35 a week, £1800 a year.... and that's a lot of shooting gear or anything else) All the reasons above helped me to quit but you might have reasons of your own that would help. It's not easy at first but once you do it you will realise it was the best decision you made.
  23. I think Willy has put this on because it was Jack's funeral on Emmerdale tonight (not that i watch it like ).
  24. Congratz m8ie and enjoy it, guess who's getting a new gun for his birthday.
