  1. go to youtube, find a song you like, then look at the other ones that come up on the right hand side and click randomly through them; ive found a few good ones that way name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="480" height="385"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="480" height="385">
  2. oooooh pop quiz!! let me guess, it proves that you should have zeroed at that range first?? :o did i win?!
  3. 10/22's are ammo fussy, the same as every other semi auto. mine hates subs and most standard rounds, loves high velocity. it prefers remingtons, either yellow jacket high v's or the standard target rounds. rarely get a jam with those two brands
  4. na you need a hose for the blood stains
  5. were not allowed to incase we hurt someone and dont count on the police, a bomb went off over here on 11th july, the police refused to go anywhere near the scene for 4 or 5 days in case it was a trap
  6. get a rottweiler, nothings a better deterrant, except maybe two rottweilers at the very least theyll warn you someones about that shouldnt be
  7. longest shot on a rabbit was similar to yours ollie, about 140 yards; longest shot (target shooting) was 187 yards last boxing day at a few clays on pegs; though now i have the hmr i keep the 22lr for 80 yards or less
  8. thats the trap im trying not to fall into, been working my back side off since xmas to save up to change, so im going to get my hands on one first before i do anything :look: well so far we have spas 12, spas 15, benelli m3 and vursan 95; anyone know of any others out there?
  9. the only one ive owned was a benelli montefeltro, it was a complete pain in the ***. needed constant cleaning to keep functioning (i mean a full strip and clean after every outing) and the only thing it was guaranteed to cycle (if clean) was 32g or higher :look: as well as that ive used a few friends guns, a couple of browning's, a beretta, a franchi (raptor i think?), a winchester and a benelli (cant rem the model); theres been more but those are the ones ive shot more than once or twice. all of them have had jams, etc - maybe im just jinxed when it comes to semi's
  10. i want it because i like it :o but seriously, i want versatility and reliability from my shotguns. ive never really got on with semi's, any ive owned or used have been too ammo fussy for my liking, i use everything from 21g to 36g cartridges throughout the year, and i use them everywhere from clay grounds to farm yards to standing knee deep in a bog, so i use pump actions; however there have been a couple of occasions (not many) where a semi would have been useful, so the ability to switch between two modes would be a major bonus. im used to handling mossberg 500's so the handling issue isnt a big one to me (6'2 with a big frame ) and im not that worried about resale value, the treatment my guns get would outweigh that anyway the only thing is, i want something with a tob rib and multi choke; that varsun m95a i posted seems to be ideal, plus its got the benelli semi auto sytem (recoil operated, not gas) which would keep the weight down. only problem so far has been tracking down someone to see if theyre available or can be imported - varsun seems to have been bought over by stoeger, which in turn was bought over by the beretta group (hence the benelli style recoil system, as they own benelli) so ive fired off a few emails to see if those are still in production and if theyre available edit - right im a tube i thought the benelli m3's only came with rifle sights  found some on guntrader that are what im looking http://www.guntrader.co.uk/GunsForSale/071206162131063 thanks everyone
  11. good point :o i havnt necessarily written off the spas 12 yet, im just not sure about it - need to get my hands on one first to try it out, i dont want to fall into the "cool" trap then again looking at this pic.... now heres something interesting ive found with the m3, a vursan m95a?! looks like the m3 but it has a top rib?! http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http...=1t:429,r:1,s:0 http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http...=1t:429,r:0,s:0 edit - versan seems to be made by stoeger in turkey - http://www.sportingservices.co.uk/shotguns.asp
  12. cheers, they have 3 m3's on at the moment , plus the odd spas 12 crops up on here and 118 came back telling me that the top 7 semi auto shotguns are benelli, beretta 391, browning gold, franchi, mossberg 935, remington andwinchester super x2 not the question i asked, but quite interesting as ive already seen the mossberg 935 and like the look of it...
  13. should be able to pick one up for around £100, the golf ones are ok as a rough guide as long as you know the height of something youre looking at
  14. ive just texted 118 118 to ask (they sent me a msg saying i could ask a free question) im looking something for rough shooting and clays (odd time), like the idea of a dual action, but i doubt the spas12 would be practical (been told theyre too heavy). the benelli m3 doesnt look too bad, but need to find one first to try it - on top of that i havnt decided if i can be bothered going for a high capacity shotgun
  15. its usually called dual insurance. each each insurer usually pay a portion of the claim, it happens all the time with travel insurance - lose your bags, claim on the travel insurance and half the time the items are covered under the house insurance as well, so the travel insurers get the house insurers to pay half the claim; usually doesnt go against your claims history on the house insurance though. (and yes, im studying for more ******* insurance exams at the mo )
  16. you sure its not scrap crop? if it is it could be wheat or barley or anything, its mixed in the silo's during winter to feed the cattle. one of the places i shoot does this, had a few good days last year though they arent doing it this year had a few good days in june on the crows, havnt bin at them much since, mostly rabbits so far this year. was at a new place last night, 12 acres or so of wheat (i think). just went to take a look as it wont be ready for another month or two, crow/pigeon season for us starts end of august, looks like we'll be having plenty to do this year!
  17. most house insurance carries public liability. just lifted a random policy booklet from axa, the wording is... "we will cover all amounts that you are legally responsible to pay as damages for: a - bodily injury (inc death or disease) to any person, or loss or b - loss or damage to property which happens anywhere in the world during the period of insurance" theres more to it, but theres also a big bit that says what is not covered, which includes... "you owning, or using, any firearm or sporting gun" - so shooting isnt covered, also "you owning or using animals other than horses, cats, or dogs, and other animals normally domesticated in ireland" - so be careful about pet cover (especially if its a dangerous breed dog - see dangerous dog act 1991), and theres also a bit saying mechanically propelled vehicles arent covered (or you wouldnt need car insurance... ). if anyone has any questions read your policy booklet, it should say whats covered and whats not; failing that ring your insurance company
  18. the idea behind them was for military use, semi auto for quick firing, pump action for using light loads that the semi action on the gun would have trouble firing. im thinking of trading in one of the mossbergs and buying a selectable/dual model if i can find one i like
  19. anyone know of any shotguns that you can switch between semi auto and pump action on? the only ones ive been able to find are the benelli m3 and a spas 12/15, surely theres bound to be more of them out there?
  20. funny that, ive already been offered £150 more for it than i paid for it brand new  anyway its simple - its my gun, i like the look of it with the camo scheme, so whats the problem?!
  21. and i thought i was bad on drink... hope you get better soon mate  ps dont believe what they say about no shooting, i shot ducks a week after breaking my ankle, still had the cast on, just watch that the recoil doesnt tip your on your ****
  22. i usually wear camo, even when decoying, simple reason is i usually get bored sitting in the hide after a while and go for a walk, camo's useful for blending into a hedge and not having to shift the hide
