its not, thats why it comes with a spare barrel. ellebarto if you really want one you can cut out edgar brothers and buy them on ebay (american version) or midwayuk and get them sent to you. just be careful, as with the "normal" barrel on it could work out too short - and the cops could easily say you intend to use it with the shorter barrel

its a nightmare getting them shipped over here due to american gun laws, but im sure if you could speak nicely to a certain redneck you could get one for £160ish...

having used mayflys on a few occasions i can honestly say im 95% convinced theyre more than worth the money; couple of things i would fault with them is that the beam doesnt go wider for general scanning; you usually need to be looking through the scope to spot eyes at range; and its not that great for general use as a torch (not so great for spotting shot rabbits in undergrowth due to the green colour). as for range, i used mayfly's to spot a rabbit at 150+ yards one night on his hmr, dialled the beam in tighter to see the rabbit clearly then shot it battery life is ok, the batteries are tiny so easy to carry spares if necessary, theyre light and if you lamp solo theyre great. i would say though if youre only worried about 80 - 100 yards just get one of the romisen torched for £20 instead of one of these at £300 though personally if i had the money id buy one tomorrow, but at the moment i have a list longer than my arm of stuff id like to buy; the nd3 has been put on it but theres a few other things first ps elvis is takes it takes the same as most lasers, etc - the cr123a one, and yes, it illuminates stuff very well - up to 100 yards you dont have to worry about tightening the beam, over that its simple to tighten the beam up; though it can get a bit confusing at times picking out targets, simply because everythings green so you have to look for the rabbits shape (if u know wot i mean)

i think the problem is what youre calling it mate , do you just mean the stock slides forwards and back only? why not just take the barrel off to store it in the cabinet, it only takes a mo with 500's, pull the slide half back, unscrew the nut at the end of the mag tube and off it comes, goes back on just as quick too

if i had one id probably do something similar, if you look at the gun... the bead isnt inline with the rib, the moderator holds it up a bit, plus itd be useful for low light shooting - heres the guys own words!! The new stock raised the sightline, however, making the gun shoot higher than before. As it happens, I had already identified sighting as an area that required attention, since the lack of a rib on the moderated barrel and the raised position of the bead at the end of the moderator together make it hard to judge where the shot pattern will be centred. Consequently, I added a Mossberg Weaver rail, for which the receiver is already drilled and tapped, and onto this I fitted an Eotech holographic sight. your folding guns cant be fired when folded, whereas a folding stock type can be ellebarto you said about a folding stock, bit confused, do u mean the spas 12 up and over type? cant see what the problem would be with the stock on the gun in that link, its only adjustable, not foldable

does that include pigeons being shot over stubble then? what damage are they doing if the crops already been harvested...

soon learn?! frenchie i bought my washing machine 3 years ago when i started living on my own, and even though i bought the simplest one they had in the shop (4 buttons and a ****) i STILL have trouble making it start washing i think men just arent genetically programmed to understand washing machines an ex did try to teach me once, but the washing machine looked like something out of star wars, had 3 led read out screens - WHY?! she gave up when i kept asking which button was the photon torpedoes.... :lol: mrs s, simple answer - buy new shirts, or leave them soaking in a bucket of washing powder and bleach (used to work wonders on my white rugby shorts) just a precaution though, remember that the bleach can really weaken the material, especially if theyre rugby shorts...

mine only holds 25, but perhaps the spare one on urs is for the emergency buckshot shell?

i came up with a simple option for my 10/22 than all this pouch/wallet/bag malarkey - two 30 round mags clipped together just need to think up something equally cunning for the 17hmr...

im still not sure about reboring but if youve got high standards with accuracy youd be safer getting something new; failing that why not get a new barrel made for it?? shouldnt be that difficult

i usually go through 4 rechargeable batteries in an evening, could probably do with twice as many; then again i dont think the batteries i bought hold a charge that well
