  1. Dentists are like mechanics-theres some good ones out there but theres also some cowboys. Not many decent dentists do NHS cos the rewards are far higher in the private sector.Shop around and try a few-dont be afraid to tell them you are scared/nervous-its extremly common-if all else fails get your name on the list for Megan-a young Indian dentist (and yes she is stunning)-at Bank Chambers in Buckingham-if you are anywhere in Bucks-she is worth travelling for.Any pain that you experience with Megan you can inflict on my dangley bits in revenge.

    useless pc

try running "super anti spyware" on it -its free and has kept my system clean for a couple of years.
  3. I use a pump for my S200-never runs out like a tank seems to just at the wrong moment-on an average shoot of 30-40 pellets it takes around 40-50 pumps to recharge the cylinder-keeps you fit but it not as hard as most people seem to make out
  4. wise decision Baikalsrule90-i can highly recomend the S200-by the way-ive not come across a uk dealer that sells that crossman with the pump included-its about another £70
  5. Perhaps im being stupid here but isnt the brain normally in the top lump that the eyes are bolted to-just a guess but im no vet.
  6. since that gun was advertised the price has shot up due to the pound/dollar rate collapse. The uk gun doesnt come with a pump as it does in the states and ive read some bad reviews on other sites about it-i rang the importers (ASI -i seem to remember) for some basic info on the gun but they didnt even know what the barrell was made of!If i were you i would search the you know what trader for a used Air Arms S200-brilliant bit of kit for the money-good luck.
  7. put some masking tape over the breach face-pull the trigger back and push down on the hammer-stone a little off the face of the firing pin as it protrudes in the breach area and try it again for a few days-shouldnt take long to cure it.
  8. As far as i can see you were dammed lucky that you shot him when you did cos i think he was about to throw that bread at you.
  9. on the sportrack make sure that the rocker cover is unbroken where the bolts go through it-the little lugs that have the bolt holes in are a weak spot-most diy mechanics snap em off and result in an oil leak. These covers are no longer available and a breaker is very unlikely to sell you one seperatly-thats if you can find one in a breakers.Incedentley-daihatsu were the first japanese cars to be introduced into the u.k.
  10. A fox could shoot an airgun if it was 14 years old or over-unless it was accompanied by an adult to supervise.A fox under that age is not allowed to own or use a gun alone.
  11. with all due respect, scout, downs is in a different league to the children i was thinking about. We have 3 downs kids in our school and i love them to bits-i watch over them like a hawk and would never allow anyone to upset them in any way-i had a heated discussion with a teacher who was waiting outside the boys loos to punish one of the downs girls because she was in the wrong loo and had to be treated like any other child-dismissing my point that the line for the girls was a mile long and "lucy" was desperate- i argued that she had made a good decision considering the consequences of having to wait.Had to face the indignity of a meeting with the head but he was cool about it.Your boy can benefit from any help that he can, and hopefully will, recieve-the kids i met will not.I wish you well and your lad a long and joyfull life.
  12. theres a gunshop in oxford got a new one in stock for £295-i would seriously consider buying it and keeping yours as spares.
  13. 12g shottie is the most common weapon used for a good reason-its the best. However, a decent airgun with a good shooter behind it can be usefull-if used in the right way.I dont think decoying them onto the ground and taking them with the puffgun is the best way-you need a sitty tree.Watch what the birds do when someone nearby fires a shotgun and try find a tree in the flightline that they use to escape-well away from the field being shot over.If you can loft a couple of decent decoys up said tree and hide yourself in a good position you may have a good day-you may find that the sound of the shotgun firing is an advanced warning that you are about to get visitors.I think that 1 pigeon with the airgun is worth 10 with a shotgun-good luck.
  14. i think in your case you can post your gun to an RFD (just under £20 royal mail)-but they will have to post it back to your local designated RFD-good luck with her-bruno.
  15. pushkin-a valid and understandable opinion from a member at last-well written-top marks to you sir (honestly) -by the way-i did spend most of the day with these kids of whom i have been discussing and know exactly where they come from-racism doesnt come into it-just my desire to discover who decides where the money goes.
  16. i can imagine that the kick on an FAC springer is a scopes worst enemy-have you thought about a "dampa-mount"-i think they were from theoben who made some pretty pokey springers. If you could insulate the scope you could perhaps open up your choice as well as not busting a couple of scopes a year-would help maintaining accuracy as well-just a thought.
  17. tiercel-thanks for your kind and mature comments-they have helped enormously-show me such a restaurant and i will report it to the authorities-as for the experience side-how do you know what experiences ive had?-would you like to see my disabled badge ? (i can p.m. you a scan of it if you like)-I have most likely experienced more medical traumas (some are available on video in teaching hospitals if you want to watch-im the one asleep on the table)in the last 5 years than most would in a lifetime-so dont even go down that road.As for the moaning bit-im asking a question in pursuit of a coherant answer and not just "its right cos i say it is".Did my growing up quite awhile back so i wont hurl abuse.
  18. i suffer with being a left hooker-it might be worth looking for a Baikal o/u 20g as they seem to have very little cast on the stock-i use 3 baikal guns ,all right handed, and have no problems shooting from the left shoulder.
  19. I was banned for 3 months and didnt get any reply to my emails-im glad in a way cos i found this forum which is far better.
  20. v8landy-good points indeed-however (immigrants aside) could you ask your wife if she agrees with the following "comments". A/special needs children are placed in mainstream schools because of the introduction of the equal opportunities dictate and would ,in many cases, be better educated within specialist schools if the parents would allow it. B/schools welcome special needs kids becuase they get a much higher budget per child that they hope to "dip into" for the benefit of the mainstream school as a whole (our council is currently offering £96k funding per 6 S.N. pupils).C/a high percentage of these SN kids are disruptive within the normal classroom enviroment and this leads to the normal (for want of a better word) kids losing valuable learning time. Might i explain that i am not on a witch hunt or spearheading an anti special needs campaign-i am simply trying to find a viable explanation why the EA can find a thousand pounds per day for some children and a thousand reasons a day for denying others.
  21. Lets just have a quick look at these replies-varmintator/-why should i have to send my kids to private school when i am already paying a kings ransom to have them taught in the state system?-it may interest you to know that many of the kids in the school i was talking about are immigrants (one out of the ten was english).dancake/-A childs motivation is a powerfull tool but when the very means of learning are absent they soon lose heart.harfordwmi / the child would remain someones child and recieve the same love and attention without the money + no one mentioned "care"-we are talking education here and besides the healthcare in this country has been raped by succesive goverments for years and is in meltdown-as for being free -i dont think so. One other thing to lob into the melting pot-in my village is a "school" that takes all the kids that have been expelled from mainstream units and are considered too troublesome to stay in normal schools. They have no physical or mental problems -they simply refuse to tow the line. These kids are brought to school by taxi-one in each from all over the area-each child also has to have an escort because of child protection not allowing them to be alone in a car with an adult-the taxi drivers also insist on this-the bill for all of this is picked up by us all.By comparison - when my lad goes to secondary school in 2 years time im going to have to pay over £600 per year to get him there-is that fair?
  22. I had a 301 many years ago (more than i care to remember)-had it for over 5 years when a financial crisis forced her departure-it never let me down once-took everything in its stride from summer pigeons over deeks to winter rough shooting when it was so cold that i sat and cried! If its cheap and you dont want it then send it my way
  23. Im not sure of the best place but heres a list of the worst that i have found over the years-the branch that they are sitting on-the branch that you never saw just in front of them-any area around the pigeon -the bunch of branches that look like a pigeon but turns out not to be-the area that the pigeon just jumped from-the pigeon sitting right out in the open (cos your bloody guns not loaded)and the pigeon sitting on the police station roof.
