how about spending a little less time here and a bit more on spell-checker?

Bin rolling me own bread for years now-dont be temted to buy anything other than Panasonic-they work well and spares are easy to get on the bay.Aldi and such companies dont carry spares so after the bearing in the bread pan seizes up (most do sooner or later) the machine is no good.Only buy one if its for taste-if you think it will save you money then think again.Learn to use the machine and find out when the mixing cycle has finished and baking is about to start-push the dough to one side and remove the paddle(s) so you dont get gaping gashes in the bread-it also makes it easier to remove the finished loaf from the tin.Dont forget to spread the dough back to a roughly level lump. Its not uncommon to find that your first 2-3 loaves are rubbish-dont give up.If you push any mixture that sticks to the tin back down on the initial mixing cycle you will reap the benefits-use a wooden tool.Good luck.

my local mitsy dealer charges £105/hour labour so £240 doesnt seem too bad if you trust them. They quoted me £320 to change the plugs on my shogun (V6 3.5) so i assume yours is derv.I would say that pegasus has the answer-use a local garage that you know and trust so long as genuine parts are used (buy them from fleabay). It can save you time /money if you keep an eye out for speciel offers on engine oil thru the year and buy it in advance.

I dont agree with supporting your local gunshop-mine would be the oxford gun company.Every time ive left there i feel like ive been mugged-never again.I now use stockraft in stoney stratford-not the cheapest but the best service ive ever experienced.

Snap-my biggest regret was selling my early HW80-bought it about 15 years ago and killed hundreds of rabbits and pigeons with it-i used to teach kids to shoot at a local school and as a demo we used to put up a plate with a steel pin in the middle about 2mm in diameter. On this pin was pushed a plastic "cap" available for toy guns and the whole thing was placed 20 metres away.Back in those days i could hit it almost guaranteed 50% of the time and the resulting bang as the cap ignited was most impressive.Anyways- i sold the gun when buying our first house and im still kicking myself now.Ive owned and used many puffguns since then but none have given me the confidence that the old 80 gave me-mind you my S200 does come close.

Whip the spring out and measure it-phone an airgun dealer and ask how long it should be-sounds to me like some **** has tried to put a bigger spring in it-there is no adjustment on the rod thet i know of-hope this helps.

jeep grand cherokee-cheap as chips and run for ever-just check out the rear diff very carefully.

I would buy the lee-loadall-safer (just) and does more to the gallon

If they thought about it they could most likely charge people by the day to come and do this!

I think that you will struggle to make a dent in their numbers with a rimfire cos you cant really shoot them in the trees. If they are hanging around farm buildings i would suggest you borrow an airgun and use something like eggs to get them close-a dead rabbit with the guts hanging out will also work for magpies.Im thinking a shottie is your best tool-anything over a .410 should be ample cos neither are hard to kill.Magpies are best ambushed at the roost but you need perfect cammy gear and loads of patience-jackdaws normally follow the same route each night to roost and can be good sport as they tend to be quite high and fast.If all else fails then a larsen trap is a good investment.

What?-ring the old bill and tell them that you are doing something legal in a place where you have permission to do it with a tool that they have demanded to know ,and have, every detail of?-no way.If they decide to seize my gun i will expect a full written apology and a reason for them having done so in the first place-innocent until proven e.t.c. surely?Im afraid i have no desire to assist the police in my area after having suffered for years at their inability to catch any criminals that arent speeding-rant over.

dont mess with them-gaffa tape the hole and set fire to the thing.

I usually buy cigarette lighters-if they smoke then it will come in handy and if they dont then at least its something that they havent got
-
I seem to recall that young jamie here is just 14? -if so then you are going to need something a tad more "compact"-HW80-dogs danglies but a big/heavy puff gun by anyones standard.Look around for the HW95.

jesus wept-cant anyone read a post on here anymore without picking it to pieces?-i gave as much info as i can recall on the 1322 crossman and added that they can be tuned way over the limit-dear supersonic-so can any dammed puff gun that you can buy.I didnt suggest that anyone tries it or offer any info on how to do it did i? the only reason for mentioning the fact is that it proves that they can handle UK power levels with ease.Might i suggest that if you have nothing constructive to say then dont waste peoples time with your miserable nit-picking.

Hi-ive been offered a land rover series 2 (i think) for nothing.Im no expert on landies but it must be worth something to someone-its a 7 seat swb "station wagon" in blue (resprayed-nicely)-its been standing for a while and is ,quite frankly,in need of much TLC.The key is missing but the owner says the engine (54k miles) is sweet and the chassis needs some welding. Its all there but really needs restoring. Now for the best bit-the owner just wants it off her drive so its free to collect.Im in Bucks -near aylesbury-if you are interested then p.m. me and we can go from there-bruno. SORRY-GONE WITHIN 1 1/2 HOURS.

Thats a rare beast-saw one sell in top nick a few months back for £100 with original target sights-bargain.Not a very popular BSF as the power/accuracy are not really up to hunting standards but you might get more for it if a collector needs one-depends entirely on the condition.

wait till about a week before payday and ,after showing no interest for as long as possible, offer him £50 (with the scope etc) on the basis that it needs a lot of work.
