  16. Not saying it can't be done humanely just not as easily done, but the idiot i saw on you tube was a real yahoo redneck no bl**dy robin hood, where food is put out to bait them in then shot from high seat with bow as sport. We all talk of correct calibre for size of our quarry and rightly so, how does a bow and arrow equate, you could kill a deer with an air gun given the right circumstance like through the eye into brain would kill at point blank but it still doesn't make it the correct thing to do. We have evolved from spear chucking and stone throwing to kill our animal of choice, by the invention of the fire arm,we in the western world are not some indigenous tribe in the wilds who do it because of necessity. One mans right is another mans wrong. Atb figgy
  17. You think this bad have a look on you tube at what some of the tossers over the pond do with bow and arrows on deer and bears. Wrong just plain wrong. I have never been squeamish but seeing suffering when there is no need ATB figgy

  20. Best thing to do is remove both fittings take them to plumbers merchants and ask for some 10 mm push fit, hep2o or jg speedfit replacements with a length of new pipe and some inserts refit with these new ones job done. Do not cut the pipe with a hacksaw use a sharp blade. Unless you really bash them they won't leak, used on central heating and water systems, and are capable of taking movement for years. The flexible nylon pipe in the filter kits is always a poor substitute for proper plumbing fittings. Hope this helps. Damm giving away trade secrets. ATB figgy
  21. Quick get the lottery on with luck like that you are a dead cert for a win, lady luck certainly smiled on you that day. Glad for you enjoy it. ATB figgy
  22. Its always hard when you first start, as you don't start mounting consistently well untill you have been shooting for a bit and settle into your own style, stance has a lot to do with it,get good gunsmith or coach to check your mounting and stance is correct to start with. Also get your eye dominance checked out, its easier to start out right than try to alter later. You should be able to bring the gun into your shoulder pocket and cheek not bring your head down to the stock if you do this with your eyes closed. You should when opening them then see your eye is lined up with centre of the rib seeing a bit of rib and the end bead, if you can then it fits pretty well, try a gun with a mid bead and line them up one on top of the other in a figure of eight, this is the picture you want to see every time. What i found harder was correct gunstock length as differing lengths still gave me the correct sight picture but had quite an effect on point of aim when shot, this where the pattern plates come in handy. Hopefully someone with more experience like beretta or coach will be along to help you with some sound expert advice. ATB figgy
  23. Don't know its it says pmr 6002 on sale in uk so im assuming legal this is the item. Thanks for the help ATB figgy
  24. No mate had a look on google but could not find any.Just adverts for cartridge pick up sticks or magnetic fastening flaps. I shot Lambton last year they have wood boards drilled out to take loads of carts for speedy loading 50 i think, which then sit on shelf in front of you, don't think a bag would be quicker, unless your taking a loader and double gunning. The fumbling starts after the first couple of shots regardless of method Great shoot, gutted as i was booked in with a team of mates, but had to drop out as going away for the weekend hill walking with family and got the dates mixed up. not bothered honest love. The lads three teams of them are going to let me know by mobile all day long how its going, how kind of them Hope you have a great day. ATB figgy
  25. Is this Go OutdoorsCobra radio kit any good or is there better for the money. I would like to get a set of two way radios for communicating between two cars traveling to France and going round Paris towing caravans  ,as mobile phone costs would be to expensive. Is there any restrictions people know of regarding using these devices in France. Thanks in advance for any help. ATB figgy
