in the warmer months ive shot good numbers early mornings but when its cold i dont find it as good as cranfield said earlier , i like to watch & determine the flight lines before setting up , but every day is different especially on the rape , its boom or bust lol can break your heart this time of the year

great shooting michael thats a good bag in our area of yorkshire there are some huge flocks .its getting on them thats the problem lol

shot 78 on monday over rape most had hawthorn berries in the crop plus barley not many had rape in the crops ,mind you they was dead before they landed

to be honest i shot badly lol it should have been over 100 ,just one of those days ,single & double birds was pretty easy ,i even got 3 out of 3 once but when the big flocks came in i just took a steady one ,they all add up

pigeon magnet made a huge difference it pulled them in from way way off all the birds wanted to land alongside it
