  1. took both rear clusters off and disconnected. Put new fuse in. Lights on.....side lights OK & dash illumination OK. Gave all the connections a bit of a clean up and check over. Cant see anything obvious (apart from some interesting DIY on the off side cluster by previous owner, not sure why?) Re connected near side cluster - all OK Re connected off side connecter - all OK Think I've got it! Drive off and within a minute the fuse pops. New fuse in when I get home....all OK. So I sit and fiddle with all controls to mimic an average drive. On one occasion the near side indicator stuck on and shortly after the fuse blew. New fuse and did same again.....fiddled with all controls and eventually near side indicator stuck on. switched lights off and which sorted it, but fuse didnt go this time. So have box of fuses in glove box and will see what happens. I think I may have exhausted my electrical ability. Any help very much appreciated!
  2. after a bit of tinkering, removed dash cluster and checked bulbs were ok. Did some more checks and realised my sidelights werent working, nor tail lights! So checked tail fuse and it was blown. So the sidelights must run off the tail light fuse, as there is no sidelight fuse marked. Also, someone on a different forum stated they thought the dash was run off the side light circuit. soooo.....put another 15A fuse in the tail socket and hey presto the dash lights came on.......briefly, before the fuse blew! So.....what the ******* is up with it? Help!
  3. Any of you Fourtrak afficionados or mechanics able to shed some light? (see what I did there). Having trouble with the dash illumination on my Fourtrak '94 (F78). Basically, there is none, its gone. Indicators, headlight/full beam and all other warning lights are OK. Just the basic dash illumination dead. Started off by being a bit strange, ie when switcing the lights on, there would be a brief pause before the dash illumination came on. Then, a few days later, no light at all. Any help appreciated. ps....I'm no sparky, so please keep it understandable for numpty. Ta
  4. thought i saw one for sale on here earlier today?
  5. you can get Aigles Parcours Iso for £90 on the net. My local RFD sells them for £110.
  6. I'm not sure if the slimness is such a biggy. I have a pair of the new, cheaper Deben active muffs. Basically the same as the slimline but not quite so slim. They dont cause me any bother.
  7. Parcours Iso is a model with 4.5mm neoprene. Parcours Outlast is the model with the newfangled NASA designed lining which 'moves' the heat to or away from your foot. Vario is the name they give to the adjustable gusset on the side. They come with or without it. Just bought a pair of Parcours Vario Outlasts.
  8. Have got the HTC Hero. Liking it a lot, especially as I didnt want a Jesusphone.
  9. Try both, it seems to me that Aigles are more keenly priced and they have moved the design on somewhat over the Chameaus. I.e the gusset area on the Aigles seems far better than the on the Chams.
  10. I bought the 7Dayshop ones. Very capable for basic country use, a bargain at that price. As said.....retail under the Konos brand for £50 odd sheets.
  11. Am trying to decide between Aigle Parcours Iso Opens or Aigle Parcours Vario Outlast. Any problems with the zipped 'Open' types? Otherwise, I do quite like the new outlast lining.
  12. Nowt wrong with a cheeky 'super-sonic'.....as long as it is at least a third Gin and with plenty of ice/lemon or lime. Now....if he's wearing your thongs, thats a different matter.
  13. have tried a few on today. Liking the Parcours Vario Outlast and also the Parcours Iso Open. Cant decide!!! Liking the zip entry of the open but found the Outlast a good, comfy fit. Anyone got any views on the zipped variants.......are they prone to failure/problems?
  14. use Lowa Mountain GTX for work.......best boots I have ever worn. Have no experience of the others.

  16. think I'll be shelling out for some Aigles over the next two days. This has swayed me towards the Outlast over the Iso, but suppose it may come down to which feel best when on?

Davidoff Adventure for run of the mill sniff. Aqua di Parma if feeling a bit flush.
  18. my local RFD has just got a load of Rotties in. Which ones do folk recommend?
  19. got my Winchester from Trulock and Harris in Framlingham, Suffolk.
  20. Was in the market for a cheap 4x4 in the summer.....would have had that if it was up then! Got a Fourtrak at the time. Only Jeep I could find was petrol and too rich for my budget. Always liked the shape of the old Cherrys.
  21. i reckon someone else took the shot. But it certainly didnt stress the beast out in any way, or his mates.....so maybe there is something in it? Got to be better than carting them around congested a roads in a stinking HGV, then into a foreign concrete environment etc?
  22. just received 10 flocked shells from UKShootwarehouse. Possibly not the cheapest, but appeared to be the best design. Think their deal was 10 for £29 or something, but the delivery stings! That said they arrived by fedex in a couple of days, snow an all! Can vouch for their quality.....will report back on success in the new year.
  23. my nutter is there. Kenmilfore Best Sprinter. as said, spelling needs to be spot on. Is there any way to get details of the breeder online?
