  1. How come youre getting shot of the Chas Osborne? You seemed well chuffed with it at the time.
  2. Were they Remington? They were the worst IME, but havent had any for a few years now. You were lucky the bullet made it out of the barrel.
  3. Try the "other sales" section. Is it brand new or has it had 25 cartridges through it?
  4. That is brilliant! Whos gonna have a go at an Optimus Prime, that would look wicked
  5. My house is the same, even if you get to breeze block, its too soft to provide a good anchor. Luckily I have an internal garage thats cocooned in fire blocks?, these are a b1tch to drill into but once you have, it aint going anywhere with rawlbolts. My FEO was happy with the cabinets being in the garage as I can bolt it from the inside and go through the firedoor into the house.
  6. You could be right, 2003 would make more sense. Either not stamped very well or my eyesight is worse than i thought it was Cheers
  7. Ive been asked how old the Teknys is that im selling, it has optima barrel, extended optima chokes. The date code is BI, which according to the Avalon website is 1997. Google suggests that the 391 was released in 1999 and Optima bored ones in 2001. Any Beretta experts out there know why the numbers dont add up?
  8. I think the Predator 8 is too big on my stainless varmint 243, if I could be 4rsed to sort the variation I would swap it for a DPT. Pred 8 maybe ok on 22-250, but thats a CF, too big for a rimfire IMO. Dont know if Wildcat still do the Whisper model for rimfires or even if its any good. Youre never going to get the hmr down to 22lr subs noise levels, so for me the SAK is perfect. My hmr is a short barrelled varmint CZ452, so with the SAK being short and stubby too, doesnt make it a chore using it from a vehicle.
  9. Only the Predator 8 i have on the 243, good noise suppression, less muzzle flip etc, but bloody heavy!
  10. Ok, never heard that before. Be a tad heavy on a little gun though. I wouldnt say the hmr was loud anyway, ive put thousands through my sak and theres no differedifferewhen it was new 8yrs ago
  11. Sorry, im looking on my dog poo work phone- is that still in velvet?
  12. T8 on a hmr? Get a SAK for 30 sovs, job done.
  13. https://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/topic/361722-laurona-game-multichoke-12-gauge/?do=findComment&comment=3307076 Could do worse than this one!
  14. Never mind not being to **** in a bottle...what was wrong with you?
  15. Tomato food isnt the best for chillis, try and get some Chilli Focus, its mustard. If you do stick with the tomato food, feed at half strength every watering, not weekly. Also as has been stated above, chillis grow better(and hotter) if they are always on the dry side. I dont water mine until the leaves are drooping. What size pot are they in? Mine are in bottomless 12L flower buckets in the polytunnel, if theyre in small pots they get rootbound and cant take up the nutrients of the feed so easily.
  16. Sorry, yes its a Guerini shotgun, im getting a thinner butt pad for it, but just wondered if it came to the chop what the score with the warranty would be. As stated above, cant see how lopping 1/2" off the stock could be deemed responsible for it developing a serious mechanical fault. If the stock split because some ape graunched a pair of coach screws into it to hold on the pad, then fair do's
  17. Can shortening the stock of a new gun invalidate/affect warranty at all?
  18. Theres one on the private sales section.....not mine i hasten to add
  19. The land being wet now, in high summer and there are drainage ditches? What is it going to be like in winter? The very bottom bit of my allotment is like this as everything from the rest of the site drains this way towards the woods, its unusable in the winter
