  4. Now only use rws superfields .177 in the AAS410K,good grouping and stopping power so thats now my pellet of choice.£6.50 x 500.
  5. I would go for the 150mm fan as recomended connected to the lights, humidity sensor would be better but more cash, dont forget your sparks will need to be part p registered or approved body. You said you had a unit over your hob ,i hope this is a walll bridging unit that is fixed up high and the hob is electric and not gas otherwise there may be trouble ahead so le,(where did that come from),could you not fix an extractor unit under the bridge unit this is what they are designed for you gould then duct this to the outside
  6. Hi all, Went lamping tonight with 'Gottsyboy' and my mate who has just applied for his sgc. After checking out insurance etc,we agreed to meet up and go on my permissions for a nights lamping. Got to my usaul start point and took the top off the fronty, gottsy and mate got in the back with the guns and lamp and off we go,we pull on to first perm and right in front are two rabbits,a right and a lefft from gottsy and both are in the bag,the beretta and gottsy are working well,we pull on to the set aside field and have a couple of misses, close in and all Next we go along the lane through about 1000 acres of arable land on another perm, had a few long range shots that didnt produce anything, then we went across the road onto the next set of fields, not much about, had some misses. We then went around the corner and onto another set of fields and we are straight in with another in the bag and then another.two more followed quite quick with a couple of misses, and one more that went into the ditch so i jumped out and took the gun and finished him. Then on the way back round we seen a fox at the top of the field so we tried to squeak him but he was having none of it,we think he had made off with a rabbit we shot earlier, its the first time ive been all the way round this set of fields and they are a lot bigger than i ever imagined with plenty rabbits, note to self get fac sorted.Ended up somewhere round the field trying to make our way back, but came to a dead end,the only way out was to reverse all the way back down the narrow track, turn round on plouged field or ........drive over the ditch bridged only by a footpath, the lads didnt seem to keen on the latter,so i let em out the back and had a go....she made it , bit tight nippy nippy bum cheeks ,two more followed before we left this set of fields. The next perm links with this one (clever eh),the first lane we had a few long distance but nothing gained, after this we crossed the road on to the set aside and we are right on another, another followed, these were taken with gottsy s/s baikal,a nice gun that looks fine and shoots well. That was then the last of my perms and we headed back to our start point, with me now in the back and gottsy on the lamp and my mate driving,i managed to get one with the baikal, dont you just love the sparks from steel lets you know exactly how your shooting, just then plumes of steam come from the fronty and we are surrounded by fog so we just drive back to gottsys vechicle, while he guts the rabbits we set about the frontera, turns out its shot a hose off,so we fix this and top it up with ditch water and limp home. Sad end to an enjoyable night, and a pleasure to meet gottsyboy,a real nice chap who i think had a good night ATB Karl
  7. This is exactly how i use mine and with good results. When i have used my clearview with my mates stealth net as well i think this makes ideal combo just as you have said above,i cant see anything through his stealth unless i got me head right up to the net
  8. Crickeys you wouldnt want a mess with them birds would ya,size of those tallons stuck in the wolfs nose.
  9. Nice write up there mate, what a top dad you are,bet that little fella slept that night with a big grin fixed on him
  10. I have no personal experience, but have read on here that 500 shells of 32g through it sorts it out think it was said that the lighter shells jam.sure someone will help.
  11. Have used one since may 09,its light and takes up no room in ya kit bag and is easy to see through when watching for pigeons and has never ripped although its been in a lot of brambles and works as a hide net. However,it is also **** in the wind and will drive you mad and the pigeons away with its flapping about.,i use clothes pegs to secure to the poles, you need a second layer of material to cover you whilst the top 300mm is left clear to see through . Would not buy another,if i could have money back or sell it i would buy a stealth net like my mate uses, incredible net you cant see it if you walk down the field and look back, think the best case would be; 1,stealth net 2,clear net inside and 300mm above stealth to aid viewing clearly ATB Karl
  12. Matt, not a glue thats what i bought at mallard barn
  13. Thats some good shooting i use same cartridge but not with those results
  14. Try muddyfrontera.co.uk plenty for sale advice etc
  15. Why dont you set ya hide up somewhere else and use the walkers to put the pigeons up ,thats what we do
  16. All info is correct, but i think ive read somewhere that they could still report you if you cause alarm or hinda their progress
