  3. She gonna find it missing next week when she go back to yoga ,will explain to her how dog ate it and how i get her abetter one,oh the brownie points and i might rate higher than the dog for a day or two
  4. Got a new permission last night, few acres of dead trees in what was a young orchard before rabbits ate bark all round every tree during all the snow we had, have seen quite a bit of this recently as thats all they could eat.
  5. Diamond sharpener as used for my chisels/plane/knives etc

  9. Looks just the job bit white innit ideal for all the snow wev'e had
  10. Made mine similar to those above but, made out of wire bucket handles and work well. 2 handles required; cut hooks off bend one straight and fasten a weight to lower end 3" from bottom cut 2nd in half, bend a hook at one end tape this to 1st handle leaving enough above to pass right through solid decoy, about 6" used sectional tent poles from scrap yard, one has top of plastic coke bottle taped to it to enable easeir retrival
  11. EERRRRR,yes 1,use pegs 2,made mine 3,is good, but will need a second thicker layer behind clear one for best results would not buy another, would go for stealth net
  12. I seriously considered a suzuki sj/vitara because they are so cheap and have been proven in their off road ability, the reason i dint get one was i could easily have bought £1000 worth of welding problems on the older ones and the newer vitaras just a bit to low and most were pink/lowered etc at the time i was looking,so looked at fronteras, just as cheap better ground clearance, more room, good ride, towing ability, plenty spares, not a spot of rust.A very capable 4x4. Ended up with 2.0 sport swb, needed to have steering colum £35 to purchase from scrappy, sump leak fixed in garage £200 has never been stuck in 5 months on any muddy track where i go shooting, been side on alot of times and could do with something different to road tyres.Caverliar/vectra 2.0 engine could do with bit more power but will sit comfortably at 70 mph allday with 20/30 mpg.Would have got a landrover if i had the money as have always wanted one of these iconic vechicles, but can honestly say i would now after five months of ownership want anything else and would buy another in an instant,my mates 90 does not compare,cost/comfort/practicallity,more comparable to disco which is just as capable as 90 but not so agricultural,ie it has comfort and refinements. I have tried to be honest in giving my opinion, but you should research before buying, have a look on E-bay muddyfronteras.com reviewcenter Then, buy a frontera
  13. HAVE JUST BEEN WATCHING FOX CALLS ON YOU TUBE,DONT KNOW IF IT WOULD HELP
  14. This is mine and it is good on the lanes, been side ways several times today through the mud, would love some at tyres but cant afford at mo ,brilliant for lamping standing in the back with roof off
  15. DAVE,YOU and others have it bang on,go for it just check insurances cover you
  16. Sounds fun,you could have a queue waiting for pics once you get more views, now youv'e said she is fit
  17. I am new to 4x4,frontera swb bought for shooting purposes, and look for as much info as possible to ***** tracks just like those in org post,am aware of speed, throttle steer, inflation(comp on board) ,235x75x16 road tyres(ok so far),grounding out,l/h gear, and not pretending to be a tractor ,there is one track on a permission i have that has tracks just like those,i dont go there  ,my mates landy JUST made it out,but he wont go back down that track anymore, who knows til its to late eh.
  18. Trooper/fronteras,overlooked and underated,my mate uses his 90 and i use swb frontera, his is the vechicle i have always wanted £10,000,mine was £950 and is more comfy has done every thing the 90 has,we are both impressed with frontera and prefer it to go out shooting in especially for lamping, sure the designer must have been a rabbit shooter,4 clips and the whole rear roof comes off. If you are defo after one of these, have a look on www.muddyfronteras.com they are a helpful bunch.
  19. Still up for grabs if anyone interested in the smell of good old days
  20. Maxium shock and trauma,a real killer,as opposed to a quick in one side out the other.
  21. Price drop, good starter/vermin rifle.Take the scope off and just use open sights, ideal for rats etc.
  22. As said. AA S410K CLASSIC .177,BRILLIANT
