  1. I have AA S410 K .177 CLASSIC,brilliant rifle,my brother in law has the hw100 and is the ONLY rifle i would swap for mine, its a brilliant rifle .just make sure you get .177.
  2. No legal contract was in place as you had not agreed on the sale price or any terms,so you were fully in your rights to sell to whoever you wanted.Sounds like the guy was a professional dealer, which are only interested in making a profit from you and over price the gun to the next person If you have a nice gun surely it is better to go to another shooter at a reasonable price, which seems to have happened here,so good on yer for doing the right thing. I to have heard same things about bbs, never been on the site and never will. Remember life is to short to tolerate idiots.
  3. Friendly forum this one Have posted for sale item and not been on here long (registered that is)on some of the other forums i use you have to be on the trusted list before selling, although i cant see what difference that makes, other wise all crooks would just use internet to prove they are trustworthy and away they go,surely it wouldt be until after the event that someone was proved to be untrusworthy Why all the snobbery about silver pigeon i thought they looked good and would love this gun if i had the money if i could view/use it first see receipt of purchase If i have missed some vital point, sorry, otherwise we all entitled to our opinion Newbie here but not elsewhere.
  4. I have posted on 'for sale' BSA MERCURY+KIT,couldnt get pictures to upload but they did on the AAOC (airarmsownersclub)trusted member.
  5. Security ,cameras, lights, bells, micro chip %,geese, dogs, cartridge bangers.Don't reply to this for obvious reasons but did he have any security in place.
  6. For sale is my bsa mercury .22 that i have owned and cherished since 1981,completely serviced, new spring, seal etc.complete strip down and stained/varnished stock and barrel respray not damage cover up,i am just fussy ,has been cherished since new and only fired 480 pellets(see empty tin) ,very accurate rifle a proven killer, punches holes in wood at hundred feet, legal spring, not chronoed. :good £100.cash on collection OR paypal thats dust on rifle or would swap for,.410 OR why
  7. I have an AA 410 classic .177,and would never consider shooting a fox/deer/geese or anything that is not legal quarry for an air rifle.the shot gun i bought off my uncle baikal o/u 12g has shot a multitude of fox. Don't worry about the air gun shooters, they know the law, check out aaoc(airarmsownersclub)cant think any of them would consider shooting a fox with an air rifle,am surprised this article was allowed to print.
  8. I shoot AA 410 CLASSIC .177 and a superb gun it is,accurate to 40 yrds+,80YRDS on targets only with it i have gained a lot of permissions for rabbits and had great success and even more fun.Since getting my sgc i and a mate have done a lot of farm shooting with his cz22lr and his 17 and i am just blown away by the cz 22,what a rifle i couldnt praise it enough and will definate be my next investment, should have every gun i will everneed then, air rifle for smaller gardens and paddocks, shotgun for pigeons and cz for rabbits
  9. Exactly same happens to me with the baikal,as i only started sgc in sept i thought it was me not used to it,so put some sticky foam tape behind trigger guard but since had condom on it hasnt happened
  10. swb frontera, brilliant for shooting, never been stuck and the whole top of the roof comes off so great for lamping, bad points, fuel economy and hard to get in rear seats but have mine folded up so can get all the shooting gear in the back, more comfortable than mates 90 and CHEAP.
  11. I use this method, after watchin them in the field that backs on to my garden,i will give Ratman's method a try.
  12. Game bore 28g ! steel,£38.50 x 250,told this is what the game keepers use round here, cheap but heavy.
  13. Have made some lofting poles out of sectional tent poles found at the local tip, they just slot into each other and go to a height of 4m,one of them i have taped the top of a coke bottle to as this makes it a lot easier to get em out of the trees For the actual lofter all i did was straighten two wire bucket handles, cut one in half and made a hook at one end, this then is taped to the full length one leaving enough above it to stick the pigeon on,to counter balance all i did was tape some lead 75 mm up from the bottom. They work a treat
  14. Hi all, this is my first post, but have been watching you all for some time have been shooting for a while and recently (may) bought AAs410k which is great for the bunnies, then in sept my sgc came through had some great fun lamping using the frontera, have also done a lot of pigeon shooting but am ****,frustating and expensive shooting thin air but i aint half scared a lot of em Thought having a shoot gun was going to be so easy compared to the rifle, how wrong i was,so will be looking for tips later.
