A Dew pond is an artificial pond usually sited on the top of a hill, intended for watering livestock. Dew ponds are used in areas where a natural supply of surface water may not be readily available. The name dew pond (sometimes cloud pond or mist pond) is first found in the Journal of the Royal Agricultural Society in 1865. Despite the name, their primary source of water is believed to be rainfall rather than dew or mist. If the pond's temperature is kept low, evaporation (a major water loss) may be significantly reduced, thus maintaining the collected rainwater. They are usually shallow, saucer-shaped and lined with puddled clay, chalk or marl on an insulating straw layer over a bottom layer of chalk or lime. To deter earthworms from their natural tendency of burrowing upwards, which in a short while would make the clay lining porous, a layer of soot would be incorporated or lime mixed with the clay. The clay is usually covered with straw to prevent cracking by the sun and a final layer of chalk rubble or broken stone to protect the lining from the hoofs of sheep or cattle. Basically a duck pond for shooting over.

Hello welcome to pigeon watch
-
But burglars do attack home owners in an attempt to gain safe keys.
-
Realistically you shouldn't be in a position to fear someone invading your home but in todays enviroment I guess you shouldn't advertise your items like that. But on the other hand people do it because they are proud of what they own. Tenderizing the bag of meat holding the keys is a much easier way for them to get at them.

This is one of the reasons you should not disclose your address on a public forum. Like it tells you in THIS POST

So what about the person who executes them? Where do they stand?
-
I would do enough to subdue them untill the police eventually decide to turn up. I wouldn't think twice about about confronting them.
-
At least we might have some room in our prisons Might discourage more criminals too.

I would have dug it out for a favour but im miles away.

Lets hope shoei starts using this technology, even though I can't fault them since my old shoei lid has saved my head in a crash. Did you ever see >> THESE << ? Think the idea was to build them into the hump on Dainese leathers.
