I'm getting adverts attached to individual words in peoples posts. have had this once before but can't remember how to get rid of them. Any ideas?

Steve usually has one or two mods for sale so if you haven't got one yet you might get a decent deal on cut/screw/recrown and a mod. He'll certainly not rip you off. Top bloke.

What was your opinion of the CZ? My 85 sat snugly in my hand and was very pointable. First choice by many at the club for service pistol.

Then you don't know how to shoot one then is all I can offer.

I'd be interested to know how many posters here are just dreaming from what they've seen on telly and books and filums, and how many miss what they used to own. I'd have my Glock 22 .40 cal back in a flash, followed by my CZ85 in 9mm (a rust bucket but nice to shoot), follow this with my S&W 686 and Sig P220 in .45acp. You can keep the Desert Eagle. It was fun to shoot but uber fussy on reloads. I'm sure Lorraine would have her Glock 22 and IMI Jericho back in a flash. Not sure she liked the S&W 4506 in .45acp too much but did like her S&W 686.

Chris, it's a long standing paradox that someone without a certificate and no experience can shoot someones rifle under supervision but a certificate holder with experience would be contravening the conditions of his ticket if he did the same. I think it's down to owner/occupier or agent thingy.

Is that it now? I've read some interesting bits in this thread but also some utter arrogant tosh. Crates empty so off to buy another one and find another interesting thread. Only comment I'd make Joe, is that you said earlier on that you weren't confident that Adam would kill the fox. I know its a moot point and that we're never 100% sure of a kill, but although it went well and a good kill, was it wise to allow the shot with your uncertainty?

Giz a shout in the next couple of days. You can try 75gn reloads through it. As said, 100gn is on the limits for a 1:10 twist.

Steve, you're on a hiding to nothing. What are people going to believe? Something they've read about or someone who's lived with it for years and made a living from it? Have a good trawl. You'll find a good deal of top notch posts and topics but you'll equally find as much armchair twaddle. Entertaining though.

Amazed at all the "I'd do this and wouldn't hesitate to do that" stuff. None of us would actually know what we'd do until it happened for real.

Someone needs to get out more often.

According to Hornady about 2 weeks ago, Edgars are supposed to be getting an emergency shipment. Assuming they've got it, it's obviously not getting to the dealers yet.

I'd go .177 if I were you. Flatter shooting. Whats up with Toggi or the plethora of lesser named but just as good brands. It's a pair of wellies. They're going to get very dirty. As long as they're green noone will care.
