    And the last one I shot, when I looked at the scope was surprised that I'd wound it up to 18x. Yo may need a large FOV to acquire a target but once done you can have it as narrow as you like.

    You don't say what configuration it is. Standard wood stocked 10/22's have a barrel band that holds it down on the stock for instance and at the other end of the scale shrouded barrels are tensioned inside the shroud.

    Read the topic and thought the wee Chinese pile of tin and wood got off lightly. Doesn't alter the fact that if people weren't interested in it they shouldn't have posted. It probably didn't sell here because people DID know what it was.

    Too small a calibre for a humane kill. I use a 105mm Pak Howitzer but only to a max of 50 yards , much cleaner.

    Working unfortunately. Shame, I'd have been the cr@ppiest. Safest thing when I'm shooting a shotgun is the thing I'm aiming at.

    One of the walts on there (Tony Cumper) sells stuff at a couple of car boot sales I go to. Bought a knife off him not long back. For anyone local to me last seen at the Dewsbury Rams car boot.

    I had a set of Leupold mounts on mine. Basically any Mauser 98 mounts should do it.
