Agree with the Simmons WTC but for a 10/22 I recommend the WTC 2.5-5x20. Don't be put off by the small objective, it's surprisingly wide FOV. Regretted getting rid of mine.

Unfortunately the target was at 100 yards and survived without a mark on it My howa .223 is very accurate out to 300 yards. Not tried it any further.
