  3. So boston (on the wash) is flooding and residents told there will be a surge around 10pm - why 10 when high tide was an hour ago?
  4. Spend the time you're awake writing a list of everything you'll use your new super-fast internet for and be thankful you're so lucky.
  5. Where are you fenboy? (Fens I know...) Maybe someone local can help F2F
  6. Yup. I think I'll be employing a new team member next year. Likely to go graduate route but not a clue what pay expectations will be ? Thoughts anyone ?
  7. Mines in my car some days, home if I've got a shorter day. Out and playing a few times in the day, both offices I work from she's allowed in and generally good company. Walk before and after, but not everyday as don't want expectations of a routine
  8. They've sold the loans at a realistic value level. These are loans that aren't expected to be paid under a very old loans system! 1990 is 23 years ago making the 'student' 44 now - should be paid off so clearly not the easiest loans to get back. Happens all the time - elec company selling debts to debt collectors don't do it at full value and exactly the same here!
  9. Thanks but home internet isn't quick enough to stream tv! (If it was if have netflix and love film as well as itv, bbc etc from Internet and not pay sky rates!)
  10. Thanks all. Not sure about running coax as means holes etc in rented place :-/ Maybe this isn't simple...
  11. Hi all, Is there a legitimate way to send sky from my sky box downstairs to the bedroom TV? Happy to have to walk downstairs to have to change channel etc, would rather not have to install wires (rented house) so wireless options would be perfect? Ive got a miracast receiver on the Tele downstairs for watching films off the laptop - very impressive tech. Thanks, Jon
  12. We're British - we don't talk money
  13. Colours in that menu show what's using it ? Think purple is active/recent use ?
  14. Just give me rural broadband of at least 2 meg so I can work from home and I won't need to travel!
  15. Won't pay a monthly cost as most my time is rural and hence no 3G. Want laptop power in a smaller device... Sounds like it might do that.
  16. Hi, Has anyone got or tried the above please? Was looking for a tablet do I don't have to carry laptop everywhere but above looks like I could get rid of laptop completely? Read somewhere it comes with a docking station that my monitor could be plugged into so I can see bigger screen when needed - is this right as it's a key point for me? If not how do I connect to a bigger screen. Was looking at iPad but downsides are no proper excel and no Sharepoint hookup/sync which a windows 8.1 tablet would solver for me? Thanks, Jon

    Sick chicken

A decent cider vinegar (easy to find contaminated versions) helps maintain gut flora/bacteria and help intestines. If birds have never been wormed and then have worms they'd have intestines with toxins being excreted into them anyway so would be worthless. Basics - worming and red mite. Can be nice to the birds after but those 2 are basic needs which everyone should be aware of
