Fantastic rods, I have a couple myself although the cheaper version. Throughly recommended for all but the heaviest of marks!

Rossi will be competitive, but, he will be No.2 rider when Lorenzo wins this years championship ( yes he will, he's got the all important consistency). He's just going to have to deal with that. I suspect he will be back up to speed within 3 rounds, he may be a title challenger next year... I also suspect that he may well end up a close second or even third to Pedrosa/Lorenzo. If they stay fit then I'd fancy a Lorenzo/Pedrosa title race with Rossi possibly getting between them if the mental stability isn't robust enough with either of the other two. It will be interesting to see Vale come into things as the underdog.

Similar, my Betti Diamond is now two years in my possession, used most weeks and never let me down. The pin springs were changed prior to my ownership to cure the second barel not firing problem (Google it, it's well documented), cheap fix and most will have been done if required, it does seem to affect earlier guns mainly.

It uses air, but dive shops will filter and 'demoisturise' the air when it's compressed so you get a dry fill.

Absolutely it helps you focus your concentration apparently.

You know nothing about me, or my shooting...or come to that about Geography. I live in Sussex not Essex, if you could read properly you'd see that under the avatar. I shoot wildfowl and do pest control. I have travelled extensively, I'll wager more so than you, in fact I even came to Scotland and happily found it was generally a pleasant place filled with pleasant people...you get the exceptions to the rule of course as you prove but fortunately rarely. I'd be interested to hear how I am a 'mere' anything ...actually, on second thoughts, no I wouldn't. You weren't on my ignore list otherwise I wouldn't have seen this, you will be in twenty seconds or so, you can then spout your arrogant, ignorant, self centred bile to your hearts content, as I won't be reading, it won't affect me!

Is there a BLOCK/IGNORE option on this forum? The crass, agressive, rude style of posting as well as the tripe spouted by certain single minded (possibly single brain celled too) individuals REALLY IS MORE THAN I CARE TO DEAL WITH! Ah, found it! Thank the Lord for that! No more drivel from a couple of our northern bretheren!

I'm not going there...not a duck or goose in sight!

Steel shot in non proofed gun.

I used Super Steel 4's last season with mixed results...but that says more about my shooting than the loads. They seemed to kill cleanly when put in the right place! -
If you want to make your own, there a a few tips here... http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/215154-motherline-tide-rig-should-i-buy-one-or-make-one/ http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/131354-decoying-duck/

Mother won't mourn him now fella, she's just died.

Is it just a north of the border thing to get so hysterical about something that MIGHT happen? Between you and Polestar you're giving the antis all the ammunition they'll ever need.

It looks like a pellet wound? Kids with an air rifle?

Assange needs to clear his name, his lack of willingness to attempt to do so says everything about his innocence or rather lack of!

+1. I'd always wear a dark suit and tie unless it was specifically asked for an alternative dress code. In the same vein, I'll always wear a suit to a wedding unless it was themed.

What he said! In my dreams! In reality I couldn't care less nowadays. Modern football isn't a game any self respecting sports fan should admit to admiring anymore.

, didn't actually bother reading thr preceding post then.

New permission for Vermin control with air rifle

Ain't Google a wonderful thing. You shot a dove and thought it was a feral. Man up, admit it and sort out your quarry identification...in my opinion.- 12 replies

I have spray painted (aereosol) my SA barrel with a high temp paint. The blueing was getting thin and the salt air beginning to make it's mark. So far (one season in) it still looks perfect, time will tell.

Hahaha, 3 pages in and you now don't like how it's going. It's turning into a discussion as to the merits of either. personally I have already conceded that you can use a springer for either, but, I feel the advantages of the PCP outweigh the disadvantages, Fenman disagrees. Anyway, it goes without saying that a decent springer in the right hands can be an accurate tool, I don't think anyone would argue that, so what was the point of the original post if that's all it set out to achieve, unless it was to big up your markmanship of course? In which case, nice group!

LOL! Ok, yes, most of the serious hunters use 'real' guns. However, I'll reword that to most serious airgun hunters blah, blah, blah. Just as a case in point, last night I shot 7 rabbits, 3 of which were shot consecutively. By that I mean that I shot one, second one looked up wondering what the noise was, bang, third one had by then bolted as far as the fence line but then paused, bang! 3 rabbits in probably less than 30 seconds, only achievable beacuse all I have to do is cycle the bolt in my multishot Daystate Mk3 to take another shot, minimal movement, minimal time. I'll bet you some serious cash that you can't do that with your break barrel springer? That said, the last one was taken as I was clearing up! It was dusk and as I was walking up the field I realised that there were two rabbits sat in the field no more than twenty yards in font of me as I brazenly walked around picking up carcasses! Cheeky or stupid, either way, a standing snap shot taught one the error of its ways!

I reckon it would penetrate pretty well actually and cause a lot of damage as it went through. Skin and muscle isn't that resilient you know. Would require good shot placement for a clean kill though, which would be trickier with a shotgun.

Surely another storm in a teacup then if the case was dropped! Quelle surprise.
