  1. four-wheel-drive - much as I would like to indulge you in a battle of wits, you are clearly unarmed and I don't want to take advantage.
  2. Mushroom - a couple of years ago, I helped a mate shift furniture from a relative's house, who had died - I had a large van for my sons' motocross hobby. We delivered until about three o'clock in the morning in mainly Asian areas. There were very polite, helpful and friendly. I did not feel threatened and nor was I. There is good and bad in any race or religion. My own view is that there is one law of the land. Anyone coming to the country should abide by that law and not seek to impose their own, other than via the ballot box. When in Rome etc. It is up to France to do as they see fit.
  3. UK Poacher - nice posts. :good: four-wheel-drive - I looked up idiot in the dictionary again, just so I didn't do you an injustice. Utter biased drivel.

    Radio 2

It's not the same since Sarah Kennedy and Terry Wogan left. Vanessa - do me a favour - truly dreadful. Chris Evans - one morning I think the first bit of music was 7 minutes into the show. He has curtailed the opening diatribe now, but I think he is amateurish. I switch to another station rather than listen to his forced humour. I don't know exactly when he lost it, but it's gone.
  5. Definitely with Alpha Mule on this. They may be genuinely interested in what activities you do in your spare time, but I would wager good money that they want to know how you mix with others and whether there is any team work involved. Whatever you chose, write up what your involvement is, what you put in and if others are involved - especially helping others. Good luck.

    MOT querry

If your MOT runs until tomorrow - yes. If the last day is today - you will be breaking the law.
  7. It's up to France what law they pass. That's democracy. Obey the law or suffer the consequences. Just as it should be.
  8. Liverpool played well. What happened to the almost same players in the rest of the season? City were poor. Balotelli looks like is heart is elsewhere - if indeed he owns one.
  9. Hello and welcome. There is no better place for advice and helpful comments.
  10. These are superb for sporting. Just put them in and forget about changing them.
  11. If you support an application which is clearly not true - "Deception" is the least you would be facing. Aiding and Abetting springs to mind. It's not worth doing a favour if this involves telling a lie. It could and ought to have repercussions for the both of you.
  12. Beretta Italy - I too find your recent posts a bit OTT. A laugh is a laugh, but your last post lacked humour and was a bit beneath you. You have made the comment that I could not still ride a motocross bike. You are correct - age and injuries have taken their toll on me. That said - either of my lads could wipe the floor with you on a motocross track or off it. :) You trot out textbook stuff you have read - I suspect without fully understanding it. Call a halt and try to add something to the forum. A truce is offered - take it or leave it. If you leave it, perhaps you could continue by answering the question on the other thread.
  13. There was one on the big gun site last week. Cheap enough too. Just a bit far to travel and I wouldn't use it.
  14. Mungler - nice to see you have recovered. :) :good:
  15. Ken - he's just gone a little quiet. Expect a devastating riposte - obviously not containing any facts or answers to questions.
  16. Willxx - excellent post. Totally agree.
  17. Mungler - don't act in haste. Your reputation on here needs no defending and if you say you were ill, I'm sure you were ill. These things happen. Sadly people do have short memories. I would hope Mr Dyson re-considers his view. All the best. Gordon
  18. I know that Beretta does not know Beretta Italy, but the theory is amusing.
  19. I have had experience of this, but didn't know its proper name.
  20. Look on Gunwatch. I have a 682E Gold for sale or another with adjustable stock. One has to go.
  21. 100 Miles Away - I have had Hondas, Kawasakis, Suzukis and Yahamas. In my book:- Best engineered and reliable - Honda. Second - Suzuki - but spares were very, very expensive. Third Yahama - we bought one of Jamies Dobb's bikes - ex British champion - quick. 4th Kawasaki - engineering seemed the worst. Badly fitting parts - clutches etc. They seemed thrown together. We also had KTMs- very, very quick. Husqvarna - four stroke - Steve Clitheroe tuned. Rapid, but parts were a fortune - £140 per valve on a four valve motor.
