  1. You don't see many on sale - top flight stuff.
  2. http://www.doublegunshop.com/showler.htm - secondhand stocks. Action is easily tightened at a decent price.
  3. Where are "carlton, pondock" - please.
  4. Lad in North Manchester does them for £85.
  5. Three points and £150 fine. I just love the people who tut at speeding. Over 100 - ban - no excuses. Try the M6 Toll road - cars are 120 plus - I understand the Police do not patrol. I do not speed excessively, but anyone who drives and says they don't break the speed limit is a liar. At 31 in a 30 area, you are speeding. My wife says she never speeds and is very intolerant of speeders. She does 35 in a 30 area going to work. She doesn't call it speeding, but "keeping up with the flow of traffic". "No-one does 30 - there would be a queue" is her response. I wonder how many of the "non-speeders" check their speed when going through a traffic camera - Why?? If they never speed, there is no need to check. You did it - got caught - pay up.
  6. The Man with Two Brains - Steve Martin was never better, nor was anyone else. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4I3F1F_t5yE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aT0bm5jf6kM...ted&search=
  7. I'm impressed. Nice one.
  8. I cannot believe that anyone with three drink driving convictions would even apply for an SGC. If it were granted, I would be mortified. Your friend is not stupid, he is ill and a danger to society. He should get treatment for his illness, rather than dreaming of owning a gun. Incidentally - I believe that the original post is a wind up. I find the friend very stupid and he is in good company. Grow up and find somewhere else to cause trouble.
  9. Wanted - Briley or Teague, silver extended chokes - Browning Invector plus. Interested in Skeet, Spreader, and 1/2 (Modified).
  10. 10 miles north of Manchester.
  11. Sunday nudge.:blink::blink:
  12. I have shot a 30" Blaser Sporter, which seemed too light for me. I picked a Super Luxus Game( I think that was it's title) last week - seemed heavier.
  13. I am told that the common fault with these autos is that the part that flicks the shell up from the magazine to the chamber is easily warped. The cure is that you take the part out and twist it straight. My friend is not brutal enough and is worried about breaking it.
  14. Graham - I wouldn't know how to tell.
  15. Baikal side by side. 28" barrels - 1/2 and full, non-ejector, double triggers. Action is still tight and the gun has done very little. I bought it a couple of months ago, when it had the awful Baikal orange varnished woodwork. This has been stripped off and the woodwork now has an oil finish. New recoil pad fitted to replace the plastic butt plate. I just can't get on with double triggers, so it has to go. £100 - absolutely no offers at this price. http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0272.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0274.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0275.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0276.jpg I am 10 miles north of Manchester.
  16. Now you can't argue with that.
  17. Mate has got one. Jams at the drop of a hat. 5 per 100 - no exceptions.
  18. Blaser look well made, but very light to handle. I hear they are a pain to carry out work on. Give me a Browning any day. I would not buy the Cynergy though - get an XS.
  19. Mate has a Beretta Teknys Sport Gold - probably had 1000 shells through it. Jams at least 5 times in every 100 shots. He cleans it properly. I don't know where they get their reputation for reliability from.
  20. Is it still for sale? One of my friends is after a 30" Lanber.
  21. Try Ebay - they always have Beretta chokes on there.
  22. Try Chris Potter Guns - they have a lot of woodwork for a lot of guns. http://www.gun.co.uk/
