  1. Easier to carry shells around. I can put 100 in the pockets without it feeling cumbersome. Pain in the neck carrying shells in a bag or box. I have both, but rarely use.
  2. Victory Sporter 8's. Cheap, clean and are good enough.
  3. Bobby - I understand they are built in Turkey and I have not heard one good report about them. Superficially they look okay from a distance. I am told that closer inspection reveals their flaws.
  4. Not in the market for an auto, bit if I was - this is cheap. Very nice guns. Good luck.
  5. The Boar has three car parks. You need a 4 x 4 for the top one. Otherwise, it's a bit of a hike.
  6. Andy - there is a decent Winchester 23 on the next post. Not sure what area.
  7. If it is the raised rib type, you are probably looking at £600. It has no pistol grip, which makes me think it might be one of the later ones. They had no pistol grip, no raised rib and were not as saleable. Looks in decent nick, especially cased.

  9. Long time since I last went - it was decent. Nick T on Gundeals Forum goes there - says it is worth a visit. The Boar at Tintwistle is nearer and a whole lot better. Food and big layouts. Two Sporting and Skeet, plus DTL.
  10. Wanted - stock for Browning 525. Already have one year old Trap stock, but it is too high and I don't particularly want to get out the sander. Want to buy or swap.
  11. The original post seemed aimed at Clay Shooting. Beretta 680 etc and DT are decent guns, but hardly the best. Krieghoff's Miroku's, Browning, Perazzi's, Vostock MU8 - what about Winchester 101?
  12. Laurona over and under, 32" 3/4 and full. 3" magnum proof. Chrome lined barrel and black chrome outside. Very rust resistant. Mint condition and hardly used. Giveaway at £350. http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0301.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0300.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0299.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0297.jpg
  13. Browning GTi - 32" over and under, choked 3/8 and 3/8. Ideal for Sporting. Good condition - £550. No offers at this price. http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0295.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0296.jpg http://s155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/Go...nt=DSCF0294.jpg
  14. Bacon's Dozen - top people to deal with - state the Transit size as 56mm. They sell them.
  15. I paid £110 for Brattonsound 7 gun and that has the safe type, multi point locking, single lock. Never seen a BSA.
  16. Didn't know 1/2" went that big. They certainly do it in 3/4".
  17. Browning XS 32" with Trap forend. Multi - but use 3/8 and 3/8 for virtually everything.

    car servicing.

Service sounds a bit grand. Petrol - change oil / filter, plus air filter and plugs. Diesel - oil / filter, fuel filter - drain water from diesel, if you are lucky. Money for old rope and a stamp in your book if you are that way inclined. Never paid a garage to do a service and never will.
  19. What type are they - Briley, Teague or Browning? Extended? I also have an XS which uses Inv Plus. Might be interested in Skeet.
