I have just put the three new nets that I have knitted out of double stranded 20/6 spun polyester, on to lines then on to the end pins. All I have to do now is splice the running lines and they are ready to go next winter. The net ready to be threaded on to the lines. Threaded on the lines and ready to be evened out along the lines. First one done and a few pegs put on to help with the picking up. All three done and ready for picking up. Nets lifted on to the end pins and ready for splicing. Since that post I have made up another 25yd net but have run out of selvage twine, so will have to wait till I make up a new order to finish it. TC

What I know about snakes can be written on the back of a postage stamp in Capital letters. I think that you know what your doing and also have a death wish!! What little I do know about snakes is that they will take a meal then perhaps not feed for another 2 weeks or so. So I am assuming that you feed then a few days later handle? How close to feeding day do you handle when she is coming up to feeding time? One thing that I cannot understand about reptile keepers, is that as you say they cannot interact with you as they do not have the mechanisms in place. There is no doubt about their beauty and I could understand someone keeping them for their beauty alone. But why oh why would you want to try and make an animal who has no social structure per-se, interact with you? Puzzled Wales.
