  1. I raced back in the early 90s, had an 89 RM125 which I campaigned in the Finna Filters SMX series for a couple of years. Did alright too really, finishing top 6 overall out of over a 100 riders. Couple of mentions in T&MX News too I would watch Supercross on Sky, the likes of Bayle, McGrath (when he was in 125s) Larry Ward and my personal hero, Guy Cooper. As for Dave Thorpe, well, in any other sport he'd have got a knighthood, and rightly desrved one too. A triple world champion and then captain of a team that broke the american domination of international motorcross. A true great and he even gave me a pair of his own handlebars for my bike. Top bloke. Great times.

It is better to regret something you did than something you didn't do. There are three types of people in this world, those who can count and those who can't. The more I meet People, the more I like my dog.
  8. Sundays for me and my clan, but whack a choice up and have another vote.
  9. Went there today for the first time myself funnily enough, sadly however, I only managed 10 shots before a domestic dispute put paid to the days shooting. Seemed ok though. Bit muddy underfoot but then thats to be expected really. Fibre wads only mind. Give it a shot, We'll go back when domestic harmony is restored
  10. We used 21g Eleys and they cycle the action fine but get the odd jam with them. What brands have you tried Bruno?
  11. Ours cycles 21g no problem, not sure what the lowest load in 20g you can get is.
  12. I start with both open, gun up, pick up and track the target and close my left just before firing.
  13. You bang fenceposts in with it in the morning and hunt your dinner with it in the afternoon. Mine will still be discharging carts long after I'm in the cart after discharging myself.
  14. I think I'd buy a Maxus...oh, I already did
  15. Try it in google chrome perhaps?
  16. I use the browning version, may help save the odd scratch i guess and it's supposed to prevent rust forming too. I wouldn't put too much faith in that part personally, and you should never just put your gun away wet anyway.
  17. Rather her than you tbh, at least she might get her name correct
  18. Go for it, my Mrs was always anti gun, then had a bash one day and now has her own ticket and 2 semi autos to go with it. Cost me a small fortune but, to be fair, she's outspent me this year!
  19. Will make gun control laws interesting.
  20. White Bear isn't on the weekend in question.
  21. Ok, I can confirm the White Bear has no membership requirements. Just turn, pay your cash and shoot.
  22. I've been shooting there for 18 months and I'm not a 'member'. I don't think they have such a thing to be honest. cut and pasted from the page you linked to.... Simply come along - remember to bring your shotgun certificate and we will introduce you to the ground and additional formalities. Come along if you fancy it, I'll be there Sunday from 9.30 ish I imagine, PM me if you wish.
