  1. Yes they do. I love mine and it's been faultless so far.
  2. I'd like to be Kristen Johnstons underwear consultant/fitter but other than that, I'm quite lucky in that I like my job and the people I work with.
  3. (insert sound of 'wrong answer' buzzer here) Wrong, thank you for playing. It's entirely different to my wife having them. He doesn't live here, share my bed or wash and iron my clothes! Besides that, he doesn't have access to my house and therefore my guns.
  4. My spare set of keys are lodged with my brother in law, who is an sgc holder. He keeps them in his gun safe. Sorted.
  5. £150 for Elet firsts, £158 for Olympics, £149 for Kent Velocity, all 28g 7.5 plas.
  6. Might buy a new gun at Newark at the weekend and was thinking of getting rid of the old trusty Baikal so wondered if I could take it along and maybe barter a p/x deal but wasn't sure if it's ok to lug it about the show etc. I guess if I bought one there I'd be lugging that around so no real difference. Anyone done it.?

    Proposal Ideas

I donned a suit of armour and borrowed a white steed, rode up the street and knocked on the door
  8. Well I never, I won a free ticket to the Newark Show from the Browning Owners Club, congrats to me....er...and the nine others who won one also, see you all there
  9. My Maxus has it of course but so does my Bro's Sporting Clays Gold. Not sure how old that is mind you but he got it 2nd hand. I'm pretty sure the Evolve has it also...
  10. The Mrs and me will be there on the Sunday
  11. I joined because of the 2nd hand shotgun adverts...I've since bought 3....none of which were from here...go figure
  12. I've just moved from Firsts to Olympics and both are perfectly fine, haven't had a misfire in either yet and both cycle flawlessly in my Maxus. Since the move I'm averaging 2 higher in my scores, is it a better pattern from the Olympics or have I just got a bit better? We'll probably never know. As noted, the only real difference I've noticed is that the Olympic is a much cleaner shell and thats the only reason I'm sticking with them over Firsts. As a semi-auto user, anything that leaves less residue is a bonus for me
  13. I'm curious as to why they were banned?
  14. I only shoot clays and use a semi auto. I have an O/U as well but prefer my Semi as it kicks less and fits better
  15. I put a drop or two of bore cleaner on it and scrub with a brass brush myself. Doesn't take too long usually.
  16. Good point Oscarsdad, speedloading is a feature I would find it very hard to live without on a semi-auto now I think.
  17. I have a Maxus and I'm very happy with it. It mounts well, feels comfy to me, shoots where I point it, has cycled over 1000 carts so far without any mishaps, comes apart and cleans easy. I have heard that some have heavy triggers but I must have a good one because mine, imho, is just fine. If you are going to the shooting show then you will have the chance to try all the usual suspects so do just that and buy whatever you feel 'fits' you the best, whether Browning, Beretta or A.N.Other. You won't go far wrong with either a Browning or Beretta semi.
  18. Airsoft folks have been running Zombie related games for a while now, some of them get very complex very quickly. Not for me but each to thier own.
  19. I'm on season three, trust me, its gets better. Maggie Reese, oh yes, all day long and twice on sundays. Athena Lee on the Thompson will make you laugh and some of the other weapons they use in the next two series are really good. Whenever a shooter says "This is my game, this is what I do" expect them to perform really badly
  20. Other than the finish, I don't know the specific differences no, but from a quick look, it's minimal. From new, with no cleaning I shot a round of 50 28g 7.5 clay shells and then tried some 21g shells, all of which cycled just fine. YMMV of course but you should be fine with anything down to at least 24g as long as the case length is 67mm.
  21. I have a Maxus Hunter and it's lovely. You made a good choice in the MAxus and it'll perform just fine on clays or whatever you point it at. I started out with half choke in mine but have recently changed to quarter. Not much difference in my scores...yet, but I'd say go with quarter, there won't be many clays that'll need much more.
