Also slightly off topic, how does a yellow lab carry red? Red labs are yellows, just dark. Theres no seperation bewtween them other than shade.

Top tip mate! Wilkos also do a washing line pole, £3 twist lock with the same sort of top too.

Simon Dixon has a FTCh ex FTCh Springer dog pup for sale at £600 which is Rosebay and Buccleuch lines. Don't think you'll find better breeding than that!

As a cheap hide pole, wilkos do twist lock washing line poles, there green and £3 each! Don't get me wrong theres no spike on the bottom but sure you could fasion something and there thinner than a quality hide pole.......but its a start (and the missus could use them on her washing line!)

What are the signs of blue/green algae as i've never seen it in 'the flesh' as it were? Are there any links or databases which record affected areas and suspected areas in order to avoid them?

The tunnel was near the cross roads on Carlton Hill with Porchester Rd. I never went but walked by it a few times, it was behind a gate so you could'nt really see it from the road.

You'll always have to zero for your own eyes mate. If its new, the barrel will need bedding in. If your in Strelly your not far from Castle FTC. They have a range out on a Sunday and a pracrice course set up all the time. Theres some knowledgable lads down there too who will be able to offer you help and advice.
