  6. He may be described as a comedian but he's certainly not funny.
  7. It's truly shocking what's happening in this country when someone can affect your life based on nothing but dislike for what you do legally.
  8. That's good to know,if you don't mind me asking why did you part with it ? Hi OB it is a 12 bore I'm looking at I have seen and handled it and it is a very nice gun.
  9. Has anyone got or had dealings with the above gun,I'm thinking of buying one as new HP steel and only weighs 7lb 4oz .
  10. Just been out with the dog and two farmer's are cutting winter barley, one is going so slow as most of it is flat and making the combine bark and the other is in the worst field of barley I've ever seen it's full of wild oats, brome and black grass.
  11. Hardly anything cut around mid Derbyshire just a bit of barley, one farmer had his Heston baler go up in flames, the rape hasn't been touched and even if they used pod stick on it the rain is battering it.
  12. Yes, when it goes over it can start to germinate in the ear.

    Scaffold tubes

We sit a IBC on top of another one with the bottom one half full of water to act as ballast, it's very exposed to the wind but never moves, I made some steps to make it safer to get to the top one.
  17. Thank you Old' Un not really worth it and I would probably naff it up.I will price up some new blade's mind you I bet they are as dear as buying a new hedge cutter
  18. Not much point in a picture as one tooth broke off so I had to make a new one and I then painted the whole blade, I do believe replacement blades are available, I just wanted to know if it was possible to harden them.
  19. He did top and bottom and the odd one has been cut back too far so the top or bottom tooth sticks past the opposing one, it's been done with a grinder so I assume it's gone blue.
  20. I have a Mountfield petrol hedge cutter for about 15 years and it will cut upto stuff around 20mm thick. It's never been sharpened until about a month or so ago when someone offered to do it. I don't know why I agreed anyway it came back and you can see where its a a grinder over it. It doesn't hold its edge anymore so would I be better off removing the blade's heating them up and hardening them somehow or is it a lost cause.

    Petrol additive

For the extra cost always use premium petrol , you can buy petrol additives. For 2 stroke Stihl do a one shot it's green in colour instead of red. Far less hassle if you stick to premium fuel and you don't have to pay for constant repairs.
  22. Lloyd you can buy online, over the phone or download an application form and pay by cheque, you can opt to have winnings up to whatever value you like reinvested automatically as new bonds or paid to you. Minimum purchase is £100 but your money tied up is safe and you can take your money out anytime just cash in the bond's. I've had a couple of hundred quid or so this year. I have anything upto £100 paid in new bond's.
  23. 16 months ago I paid £1K for my springer pup with very good breeding and both parents did work all day, that was the very top end of what I was prepared to pay at the time some people was asking nigh on £3K for pup's but struggled to sell them. Not long after the price took a bit of a dip with an average price around £800 for good dog's but recently the price seems to have crept up to around £1K .
