  1. I believe the gentleman who was killed by the dog wasn't the actual owner, apparently he had been asked to mind it for a few weeks, perhaps this is a reason for an enquiry ?
  2. I've been using the instant fit one from Specsavers for the last 2 years and found them good at reducing the noise level IF you can get a good fit, mine seem to work loose as soon as I put my helmet on, so I've just ordered some Alpine MotoSafe Race Ear Plugs from Sportsbikeshop for £ 15.00, hopefully these will be a little more secure.
  3. Currently have a K5 GSXR 600 that I've had since 2006 it still looks showroom fresh and always bring a smile when I'm out on it. That pic was taken last year just heading down to Devils Bridge.

    Ozark

Absolutely fantastic series was Ozark, I've just started with Griselda seems ok as well. I can recommend Fargo, I'm on to series 5 now 👍
  5. Lovely fellow, met him once or twice in the Woodman when he lived Burnley

    Nord VPN

+1 for Surfshark have it on firestick and mobile and also find it very easy to use
  7. I've not watched the programme but this was apparently quoted after. "Channel 4 ended the programme with a message for anyone who might not have realised it was satire. The voiceover on the credits told viewers 'for more satire, go to Brass Eye on Channel 4', just in case anyone was still not seeing the point of the sendup by the end of the seemingly alarming programme. But the show was obviously a send up to shine a light on the extent of the cost of living crisis, as well as deliver a message about something needing to be done - before such a logical extreme could ever risk becoming a reality, and viewers who caught the message beneath it applauded the show."

    Snow ?

Few flurries in Burnley but more expected tomorrow and Friday
  9. The comments made under the article are absolutely disgraceful !!
  10. It really is all relative to what you want to produce. Heavy structural work is MIG al the way as is car bodies, general light/med fabs etc but if you working on thin sheet, intricate items or stainless steel then it's TIG. You will need gas and regulators, filler wires of one description or another for both. As you will be aware MIG is a LOT easier than TIG but the finished weld is not as neat !!
  11. I had to wait 6 weeks for the Dr to fill out my form but sent it 13 April got a txt from Lanc's Police on 19 April letting me know they'd received it and just checked and the cheque has been cashed today so hopefully on the home run now !! Never had an issue dealing with the Lanc's licensing dept. in the last 10 yrs
  12. My surgery charged me £ 40.00 up front but I'm still waiting for it to be returned 3 weeks later !!
  13. What a stunning example, I'm one jealous individual !! Have fun and keep it filled with premium 2T oil 👍
  14. Thanks for pointing this out !! I'd printed the renewal pack but not even noticed the co-occupants form.
