  1. Mine is a long way off the lands with homeloads but it doesnt affect the accuracy. I think (without checking my notes) I'm loading 32gr bullets with an overall length of 2.3 inches and they work perfectly fine on my Howa.
  2. Sorry, thats a new one for me. You ask for a .204 slot and get a .22 (not even R/F or C/F specific) slot without asking. I don't know but I may be contacting the FEO as being an honest person is a huge part of FAC ownership. It's your call really.
  3. Does it not say either rimfire or centrefire? What did you actually apply for?

    .243 bullets

No problem, it's a pity you hadn't asked a little while back as I'm not long back from up there.

I should be up there in july sometime if you want some 55grn to try out.
  6. I don't personally like these feeders for poults in release pens as the birds tend to scratch quite a bit of food out of them and in wet weather they tread on it and defacate on it which becomes a horrible mess with greater risks of disease spreading. If you able get some of your hoppers to your poult suppliers and have them put into the rearing pens for a week before getting your birds and put them straight onto hoppers. If your rearing your own it's just the same, get them onto hoppers before release.
  7. I never have with mine (only neck sizing) and get great results using cci small primers, Ramshot TAC and 32 Sierra BK's.
  8. I'll likely be in the shop over the next week or two so I'll check to see if they still have the S&B in stock
  9. I've got the same and wasn't keen on the trigger unit so fitted a Riflebasix from Rimfire magic (Yorkshire shooting supplies I think). I haven't bothered with the mag, one thing less to forget. I know you'll be reloading but South West in Kenfig have (had around 1000 rounds delivered in the summer) plenty of S&B 32grn ammunition in stock which was as accurate as Hornady. £17.50 a box.
  10. Probably not the best kept secret What make did you end up going for? Hopefully not another secret. You're going to enjoy it.
  11. I wish I had an open slot for that. I like that little package a lot.
  12. Roughly where in Northumberland. PM me if you dont want to reveal on an open forum.
  13. Two of my uncles and aunties also used to live along Castle View (many years ago).
  14. RWS do a sample box of ammunition, not sure what type or calibres are available but they definitely do it. I think they have 4 or 5 different bullet types/weights in the boxes. Don't know why I have quoted you robbiep, I wasn't meant to.
  15. It's the correct lime but you may get it cheaper at your local builders merchants.
  16. Are you pouring the powder straight into the funnel/tapered end of the loader as is shown on the instruction booklet. If you are then don't bother, prime your brass as shown then remove the primed brass from the loader body and fill with powder using a proper funnel then place the loader tube back over the case and place the bullet in as per instructions. I'm over your way this afternoon evening if you want me to pop in and have a quick look for you. If you want me to just PM me your number.
  17. +1. Didn't know about western in Ammanford, where about roughly?
  18. I was in there yesterday morning and can assure you that they haven't got any reloading gear but they may be stocking it in the near future. Ammunition wise, all they had yesterday were a small selection of .22rf, some v-max .17hmr and a single box of .22-250 (not sure what make).
