If you look at the composition of round up from wilkos and alike and look at the active ingredient it is not as strongly concentrated as proper industrial stuff hence it has a different mapp number I believe hence no pa1 needed to handle it or pa6 to apply it with knapsack still daft if you ask me though as any one can spray it any where even worse is slug pellets from wilkos still metaldehyde or how ever it is spelt reading their container it says harmfull in quantity for pets but have heard of things dying after eating a few only

Aa fields are 16 grains and never had any problems with them so I would agree with your findings

You could get a rusty old discovery (plenty of them about) mount the punt gun on the front modify bull bar so it can be attatched drive into chosen field of pigeons feeding leave handbrake off one big bang and hey presto one bag of pigeons!

I have a navara and run dakars on it and had a set on a hilux previous to that the main thing to remember is that remoulds are a lot better than they used to be and have to be up to higher standards now days i use the navara every day and it has decent road handling all be it a bit noisey at speed they also carry weight really well always got tool box in the back and often tow 16foot ifor trailer and never get stuck

We had a 3ltr 58plate ranger thunder got through two gear boxs in three years also a normal 2.5 57 plate one which did its timing belt at 30k and ford woldnt honour waranty and a 58 plate 2.5 which at 80k has just chucked a rod through the side all properly serviced on time and looked after

I wouldnt go for a ranger we had three at work and have all been replaced and the oldest was 57 plate

The 3ltrs can have head gasket problems aswell people normally blame the radiators but the real problem like the pajeros is the viscous fan goes weak and doesnt keep them cool enough

Might be worth getting a pulley or snatch block as they double your winching power

I use insa dakars on a navara i use all the time bit noisey on the road but lots of tread for the money and remoulds are a lot better than they used to be
