  1. Welcome to the site. Your Lanber Sporter should give you many years of enjoyment. I have had mine for over 9 years and have shot many hundreds of crows/pigeons with it.
  2. Welcome to the site.
  3. Chris Green normally visits and demonstrates in the bigger gamefairs. He sometimes has a retail stand as well.
  4. Welcome to the site Mac, I know you'll enjoy it.
  5. After gutting and skinning the rabbit, I cut it in half, going across the rib cage. Then I cut between the back legs, splitting them into two pieces, and the same with the front. I then have four good pieces of rabbit, nothing wasted. As long as you clean it properly ( I soak mine for a few hours in salted water ) it will be okay.
  6. Slice around the skin at the base of the tail. Use a thick boot lace, wrap it around the base and pull. You should have the tail off minus the bone.
  7. and I thought the forum rules forbade any advertising of sites other than the sponsors B) I only use one flapper connected up with a timer. I use it for crows and its brilliant. The first time I used it, I shot 58 crows in just over an hour. The following week I set up again, using some of the previous dead birds as decoys, and shot 128 in under 2 hours. Used with decoys and a Primos Power Crow call, its awesome.
  8. I totally agree with the Primos Power crow call. Used in conjunction with crow decoys and a flapper, I had two good bags of 58 and 128. Regular bags are averaging in the 20's.
  9. what size is the scope mount?
  10. Hi Chris, Welcome to the forum
  11. Chicken Livers & Infra Red cameras in the garden. More ******* Money than sense!! Nice set up with the rifle though.I have used 22lr for many years ( close range ) its deadly.
  12. Try the 'Partizan' ammo advertised by Henry Krank. I used 22-250 + 243 for fox shooting and found it okay. I now load own, very enjoyable and a hell of a lot cheaper.
