  1. 😁 I watch about an hours worth of updates each day and I think I have seen maybe three nazi's. They were Russian. 🤣
  2. The rate of APC's used has declined and the kit being used now is ancient. Using golf carts on attacks is hardly ideal. If they had plenty of kit they would use it. Weight of fire is important but so is accuracy. Fire rate has declined from 20 to 1 to 3 to 1 and far less accurate. The recent display of gen 5 fighters was a joke they were barely airworthy and certainly not stealth as claimed. The Russians do not have the stocks of missiles (otherwise they would use them and not be shopping in Iran and N Korea). The use of Russian made missiles is now concurrent with production and a fraction of what they had.

    Where is this?

From an video update a screen capture of a super yacht on location. I have tried using a location editor but no help. Anyone know where this is?
  4. Istanbul was still born in Bucha and the lack of depth in the Russian threat. The UK will not take out a Russian target that was the whole purpose of the meeting today to ensure that we comply with international law on weapon supply and targeting. Pressure against Putin is rising within as warlords based in the country speak out. Again and again Russia is in N Korea searching for weapons. The country is paying over the odds for trade as the rubble is rejected and Chinese agents are used. Whilst some materials are getting through the sanctions the noose continues to tighten. Putin lost at the point of invasion it's just a matter of time. Ukraine cannot win but they can last long enough for Putin to go. What next? Their stealth aircraft are not fully functional and not stealthy. Have you seen the dragon drones burning up the trenches. Ukraine will be a world leader in new weaponry post this war.
  5. Putin is pretty much out of kit. He is using equipment from the 50's (t55 and the like). They just presented a series of supposedly newly arrived gen 5 fighter jets (stealth) that are laughable (rivets and screws on display, no heat proof cowlings etc). Even the engines for his shahed drones are coming from china along with golf carts being used for troop assaults. He clearly does not have enough resources to push through Ukraine (otherwise he would have done so). Ukraine is improving technology everyday but also does not have enough kit and men to finish the job but has continued support. What happens next?

  7. We are all already volunteered just by living here. This is close to the end game.
  8. Ah I remember the Kodak story from the news. Good to hear that you at least got the majority back.
  9. ? The Russians have killed in the UK. Set fire to buildings. We agreed to defend Ukraine when they gave up nukes. We should take the gloves off. It's war even if we don't want to admit it. There can be no happy ending.
  10. Would it make any difference who makes, who loads, and who fires? Would we avoid conflict by ignoring conflict? Are we better letting others fight our wars? It's a series of not easy choices that world leaders have to make. And Ukraine
  11. In the army we used to wear tights under our combats in winter. On night exercise, responding to a call of nature out of my trench, we were attacked by Gurkha's. My tights separated at the knees and legs as I scrambled to get back to cover. For three days I had the remains of the tights attached to different parts of my legs and still connected at the waist 🤣
  12. Another good move. We want to retain capacity (means of production) and we want the jobs. I doubt Labour can claim all the credit as this has been on the cards for the last three years at least. There are protections in place in the event that a company goes bust.
  13. I am comfortable with the parameters being tightened by government. Look at the strides we made with fuel efficiency, appliances, thermal insulation etc. That said it would be good to see things joined up. What is the plan for power? Phasing out hybrids is also pretty rapid. It's not going to be delivered unless we are in lock step with the EU. ps I have long wanted a Toyota Fortuner a hatchback hilux. They are common in Africa but not brought to UK.
  14. This about sums him up. His view of world history is deranged. I bet he wishes he had not started this war. Russian machismo does not leave an easy way out.
  15. 🤣 That would be great. No justice just political persecution. Russia to the east and a fascist to the west.
  16. A three part documentary on Zelensky. Well worth a watch if you are interested in the conflict. Powerful stuff.
  17. If that is true why is there no legal action? The GOP have stopped pursuing Biden now their star witness (on another case? No idea) was a Russian agent. Regarding the payment above there is no evidence of this payment being made. I am sure somewhere there is a whole world of chatter on this but fact. There is no case going forward.
  18. I have seen no evidence of this. There was the Republican claim of evidence from Smirnov who turned out to be a paid Russian agent. He has been charged by Special Counsel David Weiss - who has overseen the investigation of Hunter Biden - with providing "false derogatory information" to the FBI about the president and his son in June 2020. The GOP recognised that there is no evidence and had admitted so and dropped all proceedings. There was also the impeachment of Trump for trying to blackmail Ukraine. Currently held in abeyance?
  19. 🤣 US DoJ prosecution. UK Foreign Interference National security bill. It's a lot more than hearsay. I guess it's good that we don't have to rely on the trust of the blind.
  20. I had both mine done (my wife also) as elective so I don't have to wear glasses. Both done on same day (NHS is one at a time). Remove existing lens through slit in front of eye. Replace with rolled up plastic lens which unfurls. Not the best day out but its not a problem. Sit in a chair with very bright light shinning in eye whilst its held open with a clamp. Takes about 2 mins. The NHS lens will correct short or long sight but I don't think they will put in vary focal which I had? A common side effect is that the back of the lens can cloud over in time (mine did). There is a simple laser treatment to cut out a horse shoe shaped piece of the tissue to restore 20/20 vision. I had this bit done on NHS.
  21. 🤣 Where have you been? Same as the Brexit vote interference but it's getting more refined. Statements by US DoJ this week. Charges against RT employees Kostiantyn Kalashnikov, 31, and Elena Afanasyeva, 27. https://www.npr.org/2024/09/04/nx-s1-5100329/us-russia-election-interference-bots-2024 https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/02/04/trump-twitter-russians-release-the-memo-216935/ https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/russias-propaganda-boosts-american-voices-effort-show-divided-country-rcna162225
  22. The UK's zero emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate requires car manufacturers to sell a minimum percentage of zero-emission vehicles each year: 2024: 22% of new cars sold must be zero-emission 2025: 28% of new cars sold must be zero-emission 2028: 52% of new cars sold must be zero-emission 2030: 80% of new cars sold must be zero-emission 2035: 100% of new cars sold must be zero-emission
  23. Crafty fox I bet you know a few 😉
  24. 😁. Its simple really we have to take care of everyone. Benefits must be at a level to care for people but not encourage work avoidance. Pensions are the same the more you pay the less people will look after themselves through their working lives. Of course we can look at what taxes are spent on and its right that we should save where we can (we will all have different views on this) but the principle of keeping benefits light is fundamental to growing productivity. At the same time as keeping benefits including pensions at a sustainable level we must redistribute wealth (tax) by ensuring that those that have a surplus of wealth provide for more of the fabric of our society.
  25. ? since 2019 there are something like a million migrants to the country from Asia as a result of the Brexit vote. The majority of these will be paying tax. There were something like 116000 asylum seekers arriving by boat since 2018.
