  1. Why not. Lawful to shoot invasive species. If I were in Africa I would be using a shotgun or a pistol. Gets the adrenalin flowing 😉 I won't wait to be attacked. Would you?
  2. Definitely. Dangerous animal.
  3. I have baited for one not far from Longleat. No show for me but plenty of sightings.
  4. There are no benefits. It's a failure by those proposing Brexit to have any coherent proposals. Even now its slogan politics. I would love to see some benefit, anything but its worse than nothing, It's costing us in inflation, lack of workers, failing services etc. People always yern for something better and hope that change may bring it. People were tricked. Anyway moving on 😁 its a lovely evening.
  5. So we throw out a hundred trade deals ro negotiate weaker deals in their place. We never paid EU tariffs when we were in it. We do now even when buying from the EU. Setting our own immigration levels was within our membership mandate. No change. Decide who crosses our border..... would that include those carrying Novichuck? What laws have we made? What laws do we want to make? Yes we can change our standards. Do we want to? Make them the same as the EU to assist trade or make them tougher to block trade? We could leave EHCR and we could become a dictatorship too I'd that's an advantage. Yes we could set our own fishing quotas but we want to sell the fish. Much of our catch goes abroad. We also want to protect fish before they enter uk waters so maybe just agree a common fishing policy?
  6. So give me an example of the EU intransigence? Sticking to the EU standards? Protecting the EU from unfair product origins? Insisting on tarriffs commensurate with other third countries (as required by wto rules)? Imagine for a moment you are in charge of the EU one of the most powerful purchasing blocs, would you not insist that your rules were met my trading partners. Why would you be fair? Surely the best possible deal for the EU is the starting point. We can't have it both ways. In and share the cake or leave and clean up the crumbs. Here is another example of UK wanting it both ways. Gibralter and failure to agree border movement checks. Like NI most of Gib voted to stay in. Like NI they could see the problems of being out. Recognise a pattern? All for what? 🤣
  7. Where has the EU been obstructive. They have only just introduced the checks on goods as a last resort. They offered student exchange we said no. They have allowed the uk to join the research group. At every turn they ate trying to help their disabled neighbour. What would a hard brexit mean? No EU trade, no travel, close the border? Whilst like John says we have no choice but accept the decline the country has chosen but we can still hope to reverse it as soon as. Meanwhile we wait to hear of any benefit, anything at all. 😁
  8. I think we just have to accept as a small country we will have to find a new way to do things. We have to either make friends with the big kids or accept a good kicking. Looking at EU proposals to up spending and keep it local. Move funding from the US to the EU.
  9. Free trade, free movement, common standards, legal safeguards for rights, educational exchange, joint research, bloc purchasing power, leverage, knowledge exchange, large project collaboration are just a few. I would dispute that we were dictated to. We had more rights than most and could have played a leading role. The apparent hate comes from a media that wants to sell content. The cost to UK plc is in the region of 6% of the economy. On an individual day to day basis most of us will struggle to get services (builders, electricians etc), try and get a new dentist. Social services, and health services are at the very least in decline if not collapsed. We are seeing standards eroded as we begin the process of competing on price. It just goes on and on. Personally now I have a work around on the 90 / 180 rule it's not a a great issue. Sad to see the loss of opportunity for the country.
  10. There is nothing to get behind. We only signed away NI after we voted for it. They are laughing all the way to the bank. Far right groups in the EU are now saying we want to stay in the EU having seen the economic decline here. Hopefully we can still join the EU Arms race.
  11. 48% thought that the decision to leave would drive a wedge between UK and NI. There is simply nothing positive to come out of the decision and the down side is hugely expensive. Putin is happy of course.
  12. Looks good. Are you selling it or just showing it off?

    Justice.

I don't think you are. Even a woke liberal would bring back capital punishment. I think there would be overwhelming public support for such a move. Usual safeguards etc. I think the case is the same for assisted dying. I think our politicians are too afraid of the supernatural to bring it forward.

    Justice.

It took 20 years the judge recognised that the 75 year old would find prison tought. He sent him down for life. We need more of this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-68986221

Does this have anything to do with Democrat or Republican? The man is disgusting.
  16. Good effort for having a go 👍 I was looking at some skins being done in Africa last week and they seem to rely on time spent in salt crystals. Using finely ground salt to get into the small areas around the eyes, toes and under the lips.

Whys that? Either outcome could be fair. It's not democratic to mix state and the law including judges that cannot be replaced. If the trial's do not go through due process, whatever the outcome, then that is not democracy. There are still many hurdles to completion of due process (Judge Cannon being one of them).

We hold the US as a democracy. That standard is in question if the rule of law does not persist. Certainly the confusion between law and state would not pass the tests for the EU. I suspect that Judge Cannon (trump appointee) in the Marlago case will be kicked into touch for failure to progress the case. The Supreme Courts ruling (predominantly Trump appointed) will no doubt create a grey area for immunity with the Trump papers. The big difference of course between Trump and Biden is Biden only had relevant in use papers and handed them over immediately. Trump on the other hand lied about the papers, handed over some and hid others and held papers not relevant to an ex President. Those that care about the world within which we live should be.
  19. They might not be the most exciting cars but they are the most reliable. I will swap my Honda back to a Toyota as soon as I get a chance.
  20. That would explain the ever decreasing new car sales space and the rammed out servicing car park at my dealers.

Unfortunately for him he signed the cheque and agreed to setting up the company to launder it and worse still had a very diligent, note taking lawyer. Lets hope he takes to the stand 😋

The only one who cares about Stormy is Melania and even she is covered up with prenup's. Its the double felony of false accounting to enable election fraud that is occupying everyone else.

Bit daft to wait for the trial to end.
  24. I have an excellent local garage in the nearest village. I just drop it in and they do whatever. There are some things they wont do (automatic transmission fluid change ?) and I have to take it to the main dealer in Bath. It's always a heart in mouth moment when I collect it.
