They would be taking over the highest tax regime ever. The economy in free fall and public services in dire straights. Indeed it's chaos. Lets hope they can make some sense of it. They are certainly positioned well. Hopefully they can do a Blair (2.4% growth and independent central bank) before they degenerate to previous form.

It's maybe a road to somewhere other than the nowhere we are currently at. So you have no ideas to put forward then? Isn't this typical of voters today. Happy to say what they don't want without any evidence and yet unable to set out a coherent alternative? Having a predominantly left wing coalition would reflect the views of the majority if that's what the majority voted for. Currently with PR we might expect, with a fractured Tory party bleeding votes to Reform, a greater number of Reform seats. This in turn might thwart a Labour super majority.

That's why we had a union. Its stops the greedy capitalist business owner in their tracks. Allows free and unfettered trade.

That's exactly what we need. The current system is not fit for purpose. We need to build consensus. Keep policy on track in the middle. Stop the swings. We might actualy make some progress. The alternative is polarised extreme policy based on popularist nonsense. Greens have lots of good sensible policy. Wealth tax. Stopping short haul flights where there is a train. Frequent flier tax.

I guess it's why so many small businesses have stopped trying to sell to Europe. Brexit makes the whole process untenable.

Handling and paperwork. Plus lots of wrapping paper and a box. Price remains the same for the next 4. I bought a German switch system. System was just 70 euro. It cost me nearly double with handling fees.

Pre brexit they would have been in the post. No tax, no processing, just postage. No doubt still extortionate 🤣

Shows the sorry state of our nation.

No idea how they got the figures. It was a cut and paste from the e mail. As I understood it the first one is £85 then each one after (upto 5 iis an additional £20. I lost interest when I saw the price and it's the wrong catch. 😁 Here is the rest I apologise for the delay in coming back to you regarding the catches for the Beneteau 40. Please see a photo attached and confirm if these are what you are looking for. The cost of the catches is £20 including VAT but the transit, VAT and customs increases this to £85. The cost is an additional £20 for each catch purchased and so long as no more than 5 the other charges remain the same. Perhaps consider buying a few to make the cost of importing and getting them to you less painful. Please confirm back to me if you would like any and I will send through an appropriate invoice and put the order through. With best wishes.

^^^ This. They are just extremists. Trying to label them left or right, this or that is just a distraction. They are simply extremists. They should be locked up.

That's what I was thinking. I guess if the only reason the EA did not do the work then they have a weak argument. Probably difficult to prove a case either way for the EA I suspect.

What's that saying. Something like it's an ill wind that blows no one any good? Hope it blows well for you. 👍

This is such sad news. A death before time. A man who did so much to promote health and such a likeable chap. What a sad sad day.

Hats off to you I was hopeless on my first flights. I couldn't get to grips with aiming for the heads. Any range and body shots are not working. A memorable day was in early morning my pal in the next blind dropped one a couple of meters in front of my blind. It landed with a thud. Five minutes later it stood up and opened its wings above me (we were dug into the peanut field). Scary stuff and I was happy to be armed 😁.

If Geese are your thing then you should try for Spur Winged in SA. They are one of, if not the largest, wild geese in the world and they are armed. Very clever and crafty feeding in flocks of 500 plus.
