That’s as far a dis-assembly goes by the looks of it - the grime appears to be residual and not cooked / burned on ? was thinking wipe lightly wipe over the repeat with gun cleaner and re assemble with light coat of bisley graphite oil / gun lubricant on threads and o rings Agriv8

I could not decide where this should go but as the mod is on an air rifle decided in here was best Now the label says I have invalidated my warranty as this is second hand and been somewhat used I won’t loose any sleep! so the mod has gone on a .22 sub 12 bsa ultra- but can also be used on .22 lr from the Googling I have done and I suspect that was it’s job in a previous life ! Hi Ultra stu It’s one from huma about €80-90 euros but uses standard bsa probe ! I think lane !?! did one as well but required a different probe ( could be wrong as was under the influence when ordering ) I also liked that the huma one was in bar ! The gauge would have got in the way on the short barrel on the bsa mmc mod so switch to a second hand a-tec from my trusted gun man ! need to kick another post off about a-tec mod cleaning! Agriv8

New Huma fill probe and gauge delivered today and fitted no hissing and looks to be holding pressure! might go and see if crows come in after feeding this eve and check tree rat feeders that were filled up a day or two ago ( two pairs of woodpecker seen in wood ) so makes sense before leaf cover really takes off. report back later Agriv8 Ps also running a a-tec mod as old one fowls nee fill probe ! So dropped the dead lamb near on of the feed troughs and set some crow decoys 2 corvids that took an interest in the carcass were dropped. no sign of magpies until driving back down the lane a guess what in the 3 fields I don’t have permission to shoot over 5 magpies! On the nuts I have topped up 2 feeders in the hope they will be tempted in ! I recall last year they we about when the greys were coming in ! Also looking at setting up 2 or 3 hides round the farm with a similar idea an old fella I was chatting to said you could go big game hunting but your quarry won’t be as canny as those magpies! The lamb has been put out of its misery ( as was suffering before it had the eye removed) would some crows decoys round the body be enough to entice them back in do you think ? never seen them come down to the feed troughs like the crows . Thanks guys my gut says once they have learnt this trick they need sorting as there are another 100 lambs due in next week or so ! Agriv8

After some ideas as farmer has watched a magpie poke the eye only on a poorly 2 day lamb. I have never been able to get close enough so after some ideas on how I can get them close enough thanks Agriv8
