    Liz Jones...

I can't believe that someone has been so stupid as to put this down in writing! Cranners, you are spot on - she is in cloud cuckoo land and should stick to 'venturing out' to costa for a latte instead of ruining someones livelihood with her murdering pooch.
  5. Would like to say Arsenal, but I think Man Utd. Liverpool will not win it, they have been well off the pace for a while they will secure 4th place again tho :yp: It'll be the same 4 as last year contending.

I read that too, oh the joys of working in central london!
  9. Mine cost me around £400 with scope, not the carbine tho
  10. Air rifles dont really need that much cleaning mate, no powder etc. A run through with a rod and a general clean up, maybe some Vp90 oil on the barrel, would do it As for second hand buying, I know a lot of people on here do it and I sold my old lightning on here. The guy that bought it was more than happy. If you have a look and find one I will more than happily take a look at the ad too and let you know if the seller is known to me or not
  11. Beer, food and probably a disposable BBQ or 2
  12. As a personal opinion and indeed stated in my original post, I would be too busy grabbing whatever I considered would do the most damage to said burglar to get the shotty out, by the time you have got the keys, opened the cabinet, loaded the ammo, Mr Burglar could have had the run of your castle!! It'd probably end up being a baseball bat, ornamnet or such. Then again if said burglar made it through the land mine of toys that my children leave everywhere I would be suprised, he would most likely die of a broken neck after slipping over a Fifi rollerskate!!!
  13. And i can see the retort: No, He continued to come at me and I shot him in the leg, hence why he is still alive and no longer burgling my house or endagering my family. You see I did use the ultimate sanction available to me, I opposed lethal force with that of suppression.
  14. Just had a look at Weirauch's site and the 95 is still advertised, so no its not been discontinued. http://www.weihrauch-sport.de/englisch/e_s...ite/e_index.htm As for the prices, look around and go for the best deal, bearing in mind that if you are buying second hand to get it from somebody reputable or have a look at the for sale on here. Price wise brand new - AROUND : £275 with silencer For that money you could get a decent second hand springer with silencer and scope, even if it is the HW95 or K Go S/H mate.
  15. If they are in your home, they should be fair game. With 2 young children in the house I wouldn't think twice about battering an intruder personally, with whatever came to hand
  16. HW95K is the Carbine (Karbine in German) version (shorter barrel), the HW95 is the full length barrel model. Same power etc, just shorter rifle
  17. That's because the magazine isw getting paid some money by Webley. You need to start picking some guns up and trying them out for size in the shop. The HW95 is a really good rifle, but get a good look at BSA lightning (standard), AA TX200 etc. At the end of the day is you buy cheap you'll buy twice, and if you buy something which you are not sure about all you will do is find fault with it.
  18. Personally I wouldn't take a rabbit over 40yds. As to the raider or the S400, I debated this a while back. My signature tells the rest of the story.
  19. Not in my experience mate. More you earn less you get.
  20. This topic is not aimed at people in your unfortunate disposition, its aimed at the bone idle ones that have never done a days work in their life.
  21. They will try to give you a book price, usually Glass's as they are tight as a ducks wotsit. Best thing to do is to look on autotrader for ones that are of similar age and milage and gauge the valuation that way. According to Parkers: Honda Civic 1.6i VTEC Sport 3d 2005/05 Average mileage: 30,000 miles Original Price £13,582 Franchised Dealer £8,560 Independent Dealer £8,170 Private Good £7,470 Private Poor £6,085 Part Exchange £6,770
  22. Never going to happen though Wookie, why do you think we are being priced out of driving and mortgages? We are all slowly being pushed into the dole queue.
  23. Goosen is a good bet IMO. Andres Romero looks interesting and probably where my pennies will go
