  1. One this evening after putting the photon on a mates 17. Tested okay 1007
  2. It has happened. Foxes have gone into houses and attacked young children..
  3. Already have one shoot day set up with them and hopefully will lead to more going on with them
  4. Correct I do thanks. And I am working with BASC to get young shots into the sport.. Cheers
  5. One guy I know up norf worked a 180 brace day today. So some good shooting.
  6. They are everywhere in Bristol. City centre, and in the residential areas they are not small. Again, why put this on facecarp.. Just get them in and do it quietly, no one would know.. As for the comment on that page about an animal sanctuary being involved, they will just move them out into the fields around Bristol and oowee will shoot them
  7. Yep, had to copy link out. So its all okay to put this on the basc website, but where is this being shown to joe public? Packham is dribbling this carp all over social media.. Where are BASC and CA putting this apart from on media that the people who agree and know packhams carp.
  8. Yeah would be cash, mate is doing the cutting and its going straight into our trailer. I was hoping dor closer to the 100 mark as its straight from field to me then gone. No work for the farmer at all. Above the £140 stated on here as market value
  9. You should be as you were last season, and it should auto add you back in.
  10. For wheat. How much would you expect to be paying per tonne. Been quoted but feel it is a bit on the high side Cheers Adam
  11. You have to drive along side to overtake.. Its pretty clear people here dont like cyclists, but have probably never been the cyclist's side of this argument. So im just going to leave this conversation at this point.
  12. Single lane road, arm out to show my intention and an impatient driver overtook me...
  13. Has already happened multiple times. My cousins friend lost her life. Police at the scene found her mobile in passenger footwell with a half written text on screen. Also I dont think the title is correct. Should just be texting whilst driving, both Male and female are guilty of it
  14. Not sure I agree with that. The code states where possible. Most people drive in as its convinient and quicker when getting home. When reversing you just have to triple check. People are phone zombies now....
  15. Highway code Rule 201 Do not reverse from a side road into a main road. When using a driveway, reverse in and drive out if you can
  16. As I said, I cant talk for all cyclists but its just stupid and ignorant to jump reds etc. I find now more and more xar drivers dont realise that they are driving something that can kill a pedestrian or cyclists until its too late..
  17. I am both a car user and a cyclists, and i have to disagree with you on your last comment. I cant speak for all cyclists and trust me ive had a word with a few. But I for one stick to the rules of the road when on my road bike, and have to say some drivers don't know depth perception. Ive been hit by wing mirrors and cars driving along side me for no reason at all blocking me from turning right. And for mobile zombies ive nearly hit a few when cycling.. Its scary how oblivious to their surroundings they are
  18. Look great, will definitely draw them in
  19. At some point I will do a grouse day. Wont eat one until ive shot one so will have to do a day.
  20. Dont stand in the middle of the field.. On a serious note, a good hide, preferably get there before the crows do, and if a large group come over resist the urge to take a shot. Crows are not stupid but will decoy if you hide yourself well enough.
  21. As Ian states, a 410 requires a good shot at crows, it will kill at sub 40 yards but you have a bigger challenge due to power and shot count. A 20 or 12 guage would be more suited with no6 or no5 shot.
  22. I have had this happen to me, and all I heard was the pellet whistle past my head, I was lucky it did not hit me.
  23. The outer sleeve had moved forward, potentially due to pellets not loading correctly and it not cocking fully, my mate gently persuaded it back onto the barrel, now all okay.
