Have seen this with calling. But the last couple ive spooked when tye lamp finds them, no call started. Im. Going to see how i get on with am nv spotter. Then the ns200 will come out

Went out on Sunday evening on a shoot that had just had all the fields cut, so nice fresh cut grass everywhere. Set up on the back of truck before dark, at around 20:30 saw our first, put the lamp on it and it did a 180 and gone. Started to drive the fields after dark, saw one and again, it was dodging the lamp so we left it to it. Next picked up on lamp, and dropped him, turns out we stopped him short of a toilet break. Went on and again another that wasnt keen on calling in, followed him into the next field which wasn't cut, saw to sets of eyes sat watching the truck. Another one dropped but his mate bolted as soon as he did. So a good two and plenty more to get. Last night went back to one field but again lamp wasnt being liked by one I saw, will have to put the nv on.

Not sure we test by firing over other countries though.

Here are the two dogs from last night. Would have been three but as I took the second my mate was lining up on one a few fields away, the crack of the 243 made him bolt.

Good work rs belly and oowee. Went out this evening, had an all nighter, started off sat on a field of cut grass, as the light faded the lamp picked eyes up, laml off.. had a mates better half with me, so readied her, lamp back on, faox gone. Nowhere to be seen. Then went back to farmhouse to meet the others, split up onto two trucks and took areas of the farm to check. In my trucks area we saw 5, two very lamp shy and wouldn't play ball, two droped to neck shots front on, and the last didn't hang around when her mate fell over. Imgs to follow

I could understand if the houses were there and the residents had been for x number of years., then suddenly its built. But they bought a house next to the already well established ground they should know its there and accept it. Weve had it at castle combe race circuit. People moved in, complaining about the noise, now there is a noise limit i. The track, so cars have to have limiters on the exhaust.

Was trying to be PC. But travellers sites might keep it close to PC

Both feeders were blocked and no sign of feed loss. We do get issues with dogs being run at night from local sites. So possibly injured from that. Shame though as was a fine looking beast this year.

Whilst checking the pheasants last night i made my way to some feeders that id not checked for a while, getting close to one and u could smell a rotting stench. On further inspection i found one of the two 6 point bucks I had left for the rut and rest of the season to serve the does. Unfortuntely its gone to far to know cause of death

Well i have butchered the beast and it was of good size and got a good amount of meat off if it. Will make good eating.

This. Why should we just sit back and say "ive paid so why should I write it". I have sent emails etc to local mp's. And I will be contacting the BBC. I think BASC could potentially do similar to election time when all we have to do is put our details on a form and it will fire an email out. But again everyone of us could put an email together or pen to paper.

Hahaha, its not as a daily drive bud. I juat want a bit of landrover history, use it on weekends etc.

Ive contacted people on landrover monthly sales section. I missed out on a lightweight by a day last week... My budget isnt huge but don't mond getting dirty on a project etc
