  1. I see it as a day out with mates as a social, try to ignore the cost of entry hahaha.
  2. I go with mates each year for a social day out, as above, take food as with all events spaces the onsite grub is insane money. I get to see the kit I can't afford, kit I can buy shouldn't be buying, and catch up with some of the local rfds that put on a stand etc. Just depends what you feel "value" is to you.
  3. Have just seen this on social media Shocked. RIP Steve
  4. Cheers for the replies, they are alot better than they were when we first moved in. But now the joy of every spring getting on my knees to try and keep them at bay... Another job to add to the list 😂

    Dentist

Why be NHS when going private ( as the dentist ) makes you sooo much more money . Plenty out there but more are interested in charging £100 to tell you that yes you have teeth ..
  7. Had a feeling that was the case. It's a PITA. Great to have them as it's a good screen and privacy at the pollarded tops, but come autumn it's just a mess. And I'm losing space at the base of them. Previous house owners left them for 5 years unattended too
  8. Any tree surgeons in here that might be able to help with lime trees and how to stop the damn things branching out up from the roots.. sucking I think is the term... I have 6 on my boundary and I want a tree not a bush on the floor and the a tree up above...
  9. If you took the same route there and back you saw the same 20 twice 😉
  10. To become net zero we have to dig up yet more minerals from the earth, which in turn is probably one of the main factors and causes of all the changes. By trying to fix this supposed issue we are creating more.
  11. In chrome, settings → password manager. Then it should show you all saved passwords and you can view them in there.
  12. If that was myself and a colleague that scum would be on the deck. No question..
  13. Which browser are you using? If you go into the settings and the privacy it should have saved passwords, which you can then view. If you currently logon to the browser and sync then you could sign into the browser on the new desktop. That should then sync your passwords.
  14. Those with out face ache (me) can't see that
  15. Surely if at a traffic light junction the sirens would have been sounding?! Seems odd to be mid junction then have to floor it. RIP turbo
  16. For me a big blank grey square.. must know it's been payday and I've spent all my money
  17. Most modern panels self clean when it rains don't they. Also a great way to catch water, runs straight off panels in to the res. Also would shade it from summer months of evaporation... Makes alot of sense really
  18. It also baffles me, how many houses are in this country, warehouses, shopping centres... Theist goes on. Could be putting them on any roof .. makes no sense why they are not.
  19. I think Scotland are starting to but not on the same scale as France and Germany. Mate of mines just got nearly half his farm given the okay for solar. Farming just isn't paying. So he has to change tactic. Atleast solar keeps the land as land, not tarmac and bricks.. he will still run a flock of sheep
  20. I'm going back further that that. It used to have quite the reputation.
  21. Mate of mine who works for AVS would agree with you, it has been rife for years. ££££ drug debt will get you punctured in the leg or Rump ...
  22. Well yes but you always get area in cities towns etc where they tend to move problem people into. Knowle West being one of these in the past.. Have to agree, I used to be online gaming alot when in college, but at no point did it make me think let's go down Asda and go on a rampage with a carving knife etc.
  23. London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester to name a few are all equally as bad. Knowle west is one of the more un savoury areas of Bristol.
  24. Bargain for someone their. Great bit of kit
